crazy_Baboon
Hi, I am new to phabricator and arcanist. I have an updated local clone of 0ad git repository. I am trying to apply some new revision, for example D375. Now, if I try arc patch D375 and I get: INFO Base commit is not in local repository; trying to fetch. Created and checked out branch arcpatch-D375. Silier
hello, thats probably because differential you are trying to apply is outdated and not compatible with current version of svn. If you need any help or you have questions feel free to visit webchat.quakenet.org/?channels=0ad-dev @crazy_Baboon do you run arch patch command from the directory where LICENSE and README files are ? Nescio
You might want to have a look at https://wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?/topic/21083-how-to-modify-0-ad/page/3/&tab=comments#comment-338419 point 27 (question-and-answers of that point actually starts with comment 338276 on page 2). crazy_Baboon
Hi, @Angen Quote do you run arch patch command from the directory where LICENSE and README files are ? Yep! Thanks @Nescio, I will have a look!
crazy_Baboon
Sorry guys, arc/phabricator appears to be ******** to me - maybe I dislike it even more than the regular gitlab/github workflow. It will take some time and head banging to do anything useful with it... Thanks @Nescio that's a pretty useful summary.
Stan`
@crazy_Baboon If it's really too complex (that's alright) you can also go through the manual route. To create new diffs, in https://code.wildfiregames.com/differential/ in the top right corner: To update a diff, on the diff page click on update diff, and to download one click on download raw diff.
