LordGood
but the first likely embarrassing question is: What's the SVN? It's the game Subversion, it may or may not be stable as far as gameplay is concerned, but our edits are posted directly to the subversion.lol should have refreshed the page before posting. LordGood
I think you can use the trunk on the WFG site to pull bits and pieces without taking out the whole SVN, even if the whole SVN is easier to troubleshootshouldnt be restricted, but I'm not familiar with member access.here are the structural texture files: http://trac.wildfiregames.com/browser#ps/trunk/binaries/data/mods/public/art/textures/skins/structuraland the structural mesh colladas: http://trac.wildfiregames.com/browser#ps/trunk/binaries/data/mods/public/art/meshes/structural
Germanic_celt79
Thanks. What I'm probably gonna do is try and make a model that gives you an idea on what I think the houses of Gaul should look like, that alright?
Germanic_celt79
Actually nevermind, I'm gonna do something different.

Germanic_celt79
Just to ask again, what is the likelihood of the current Gaul buildings changing to look more like urban buildings of the Gauls (like the Iberians and their new buildings which look really great, just to add). The only thing I can add to give you a better idea is add more images and possibly model an example (although my level of skill in that area is almost non-existent). Germanic_celt79
I don't really have other suggestions for the Celtic armour besides the leather armour and Linothorax. Maybe a type of bowl helmet (bronze) could be added for level 2 units.
Lion.Kanzen
I found some pictures herehttp://leuki.pagesperso-orange.fr/evenem.html#20210707http://www.kelticos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=470http://www.archeoart.org/reconstit.html#cuirassesAt last, we have finished our felt armors.Inspired by the Glauberg Statue, are a bit less complex... but in fact in the III a.C. organic armors were for middle-low class non professional fighters, wile the nobles wear chainmail, so I think it will be fine. The leather helmet is based on numismatic evidence: The two different battle-knives are based on various III a.C. findings... the one of the left warrior in particular is common of the area of the Cenomanes tribe, in the Eastern Part of Cisalpine Gaul, while the other is commonly founded in various area of Cisalpine and Transalpine Gaul.Very often these knives were founded in graves with only shield boss and spearhed and without any sword, pointing out they were probably the secondary weapons for middle-low class non professional warriors... there is also a statement of Posidonius of Apamea about celtic battle knives:"The Gauls commonly use a dagger that looks like a knife"Posidonius of Apamea, Deipnosophists, XIVHowever, both were with high probability instruments of domestic use converted for war, having the first one a curved blade useful for branch cutting and the second one is in fact nothing more than a butcher's knife. Oh, probably not until Seleucia is done, but I could at least add some variations. Other artists may not be so willing to change them as they've just got a new building set. I could add shingle variations and fix the walls at least.and thanks!

From what I've seen (like the Briton Barracks) you're a great artist. I think that variation would be great, another variation that might make it better is a simple longhouse with a shingle roof. Like the image I posted earlier.
