Mythos_Ruler
How about an other idle animation sleeping after all conserving energy is a prime feline behaviour Enjoy the Choice I don't think that would work with the current system. And idle where it just stands there and swishes its tail would be good though.
WhiteTreePaladin
I did not realize that we stored Blender files in the art SVN. I thought that was only used for concepts / large reference files. Good to know though.

Wijitmaker
Nice work, animals are tricky. I'd love to see a run animation too. (in case run and stamina are ever reimplemented into the game)
alexanderW
Looks amazing Maybe the spine should bend a bit vertically in the Idle_01 animation.
wraitii
We should definitely ask Zaggy fot the .blend files though, I don't believe they're on SVN.Great work on the animations though Enrique, feels pretty natural!
WhiteTreePaladin
Yes, let's make sure we archive all .blend files. It would be a shame to lose the ability to edit those models / animations in the future.

Mythos_Ruler
Looks really nice. About 90% of the way there. I feel like the front legs should extend farther forward on their stride. Maybe I am wrong tho. I have no good references.

wraitii
It's almost there, but if feels a little too mechanical. I get this weird feeling that all legs move one after the other and not together. Can't pinpoint why though.
Mythos_Ruler
That is definitely a good reference, but I feel like it's more of a jog than a run. But that's fine. Looks great. We can make the cheetah look really fast instead.
scroogie
Wow, these are really great. The run animation also seems to be very realistic, comparing to what is found on youtube, e.g. Although in that fast run for hunting, everything is a bit more emphasised, which makes it look more powerful, e.g. the hind legs seem to jump further to the front, and there is a larger muscle movement. Nevertheless, I think the level of detail is already great. Btw, its amazing to see how this comes together. The art section is really a pleasure to watch. You are all doing a great work.
sanderd17
The tiger looks really good in game, but it's a bit too active for me. I think it would be good to reduce the roaming time (now it walks too much imo), and it would also be nice to have a "sleeping" idle animation (it could be a really long animation, as cats do sleep long in general, maybe start and/or end with the yawn). Eventually it would be nice to have more, but it would also be nice if it wasn't hardcoded into UnitAI
SDM
Can it be set as an Ai-specific animal stance/formation? Edited November 27, 2013 by SDM
