Mythos_Ruler
Eggbird's first Civic Centre is excellent, and helped up jump-start the process of designing and developing the Mauryans. It also helped establish the direction of the look and feel of the architecture and textures. However, we've found a lot more reference images since then and have determined the current Civic Centre looks too much like a city gate, rather than a palace. Here are some new references, showing what we'd like to see for the Civic Centre: Building #4 below:
Enrique
Something like this, but with a nice courtyard in the front to make a squared footprint withFlowers? Ashoka pillar? fountain? vegetation or a tree?
Mythos_Ruler
I'm thinking some Ashoka pillars, with some flower boxes and walk way/tiles.
Lion.Kanzen
what you do with old civ centre?
alpha123
I really like the current civ center. Will it at least be reused as a gate?
LordGood
We can have a variation right? I do like eggbird's model.
Mythos_Ruler
I don't see why we couldn't keep Eggbird's in Atlas. (I'd separate out the 2-story section from all the other stuff).

(I'd separate out the 2-story section from all the other stuff).Perhaps it can be repurposed to be some kind of embassy building? It might be useful for scenario purposes to train a select group of Mauryan units.

Pureon
Merry Christmas Enrique I really like the model, it's a beauty! It looks more palatial than the current CC Is there something we can do to make the Mauryan buildings/textures look less weathered?

Enrique
This is how it looks in-game with ao maps in flat terrain and uneven terrain:Polycount is much higher than I initially expected, so I'll probably have to do changes to the model. idanwin
Still looks amazingly good on uneven terrain!
Shield Bearer
Hate to be a nitpick, but the tiles on the shrine in front are too small compared to the rest of the building
Pureon
Much less contrast in-game. Some of those stone textures should be much lighter imo. Model still looks excellent though
quantumstate
The model looks great. Something doesn't look right to me with the ambient occlusion though. Inside of the building looks too light.
Mythos_Ruler
I suggest just closing off the first floor interior to save polies.
