This is a delicate topic because every people has its own way of thinking, therefore its own way to deal with these matters.

About the swastika, i wasn't directly affected by the völkisch ideology, i know the impact it has on some people and i'm sorry for that, i know it may evoke some bad memories or shame or whatever uncomfortable feeling it may bring, but (again, with all due respect) i really don't think we should let that recent black chapter of our history pervert what the not-tilted symbol really means: peace. Maybe, we could add the option to simply not use the textures with the symbol on it, but to ignore its existence... I don't think it would be a cool thing to do.

And about the bare breasted women, i think it is a silly thing to discuss. We are talking about showing low quality parts of a human body. It's not even implying sexuality, it's only how the women dressed (or not!) themselves. If you guys are worried if it will raise the age rating of the game, i think the violence itself will raise it to 14-16 yrs, and moderate nudity is allowed around that rating. If you're worried about the little children that will play the game ignoring the rating, i say that's their parents' problems, not ours and i don't think we'd lose adult public with that, that'd be very silly, IMHO.

i think that historical facts like mauryan swastika and naked women warriors should be in game.

But, to not offend some people, an option to disable them could be a good thing (i hope that after that, some vegan don't rise up to remove animals kills and such)

Make a single version and ask whether to use "possibly offensive content" in the game during the installation process and add a check button in the option screen to hide/show this content.

Check out the website swastikaphobia to see multiple images of Hindu, Buddhist, and decorative uses of the swastika for religious and other meanings. It was used also in the Baltic states and Finland on the national flags and military medals and in art objects weaving etc.long before Germany 1933. I remember about 35 years ago American shortwave radio listeners being highly offended by postcards they received from a Spanish national shortwave radio station depicting an ancient Catholic religious parade with men in white robes and tall pointed hoods. The dumb-dumbs thought it depicted the KuKluxKlan and complained about it! Live and learn. As for naked breasts, they're a lot less offensive than depictions of Hollywood sadistic violence.

In the U.S.A you don't have to be clothed, as long as there is paint covering important parts. So as long as there isn't detail I don't see a problem. Aren't pixels just like paint anyway?

Taringa is Banned in some Internet Services in USA. i know about that but relax, in Taringa only Ban porn, nor Art or gaming image. and is most biggest site in South America.

the we create a funciton "parental controls" if this funciton is enabled, the geo API is activated, and censorships the insults and disables "blood·, if this funtion is disabled "as default" with more blood and with insults.

and i am according to that: that make very complex the code of the game!

If we really need to see nudity* and more blood, someone is bound to make an unofficial "Rated M" mod. I'm assuming the game itself is going to be released with a E Rating in mind.

*While I don't necessarily believe that nudity for historical accuracy's sake is particularly offensive, I can understand that some people may have some misgivings about nudity in general, and it seems more acceptable to censor nudity in this situation than to allow it in order to allow more people to enjoy the game.
