Abadu, I've lost link to those scans. Cold you give it to me once more, please? I couldn't find many pictures. I may add them later. Comment army composition, post in ideas ...

  2. Interesting.

In Europe, they perhaps won't push you out of the way. Personally, I think, that people are disciplined enough, that it isn't necessary. At least I've never heard of it.

Question is whether whole Iraqui nation hates Americans. If it is so, I'd like to know why. I think, that most of Iraqui nation doesn't hate them because of invasion. I think, that targets were carefully chosen and civilian loses were as low as possible. I also think, that Iraqui hated Saddam more that they hated Americans.

Another question is, whether something wrong wasn't done during occupation to change their stance.

Rude behaviour of American forces was mentioned quite often. I've read, that Americans prefer blowing someones doors up instead of knocking on them and asking whether they may enter (needless to speak about certain operations when swift action is required). Keep in mind, Arabians were betrayed by Europeans for so much times, that they don't generally trust them. They are proud people and rude behaviour won't impress anyone of us.

And last question is, whether you would love anyone hitting your car just because he was rushing and you had no choice to get out of his way (road looked pretty busy, disorder everywhere).

  3. The units will have strengths and weaknesses in a format similar to Rock, Paper, Scissors? Or will be another type of system? like one based in the troops skill or in another thing?

Rock, Paper, Scissors system sucks. In RoN it was terrible.

In 0AD units will be more realistic. They will be strong in situations they really were.

Pikes don't always have to win against cavalry....

Salo: 0AD is standalone project. Not MOD. But it isn't finished, yet.

  4. You scored as Trajan.

You are quite fortunate to rank as the emperor Trajan, possibly the greatest of Roman emperors. You have relentlessly expanded the empire and even humbled the mighty Parthian empire. Loved by all, vastly larger than life, you are the model for all future emperors. It is hard to find a bad thing to say about you. HAIL CAESAR!

    Trajan 75%

    Marcus Aurelius 64%

    Vespasian 57%

    Hadrian 54%

    Antoninus Pius 54%

    Augustus 50%

    Claudius 46%

    Tiberius 39%

    Domitian 39%

    Nerva 39%

    Vitellius 36%

    Nero 21%

    Commodus 18%

    Caligula 11%

  5. I think, that it wouldn't be problem if you added put them in you list. Just put them separated as some special units we will keep an eye on and will discuss them later.

Just in case we decide to use them.

EDIT: I got an idea. What if we make textures for those orders and give them to normal knights. If player trains knights, some of them would be in dress of the order..

  6. Now I realised, that first period ends in 800 or so. You are right. At this time it was Lombard.

    There is problem we face.

At the beginning of our mod, Italy is Ostrogothic. Then it is reconquered by Byzantines and then captured by Lombards. I mean three nations with different style and units took place in this period.

Question is, whose units should be there. Mixture would look weird.

  7. Fine. Do it in AoK style.

About that feature in AoE III, I don't know it. I've never played AoE III. But keep in mind, that Knights of Santiago fought for Spain (AFAIK), so other nations sending emissary shouldn't be able to train them.

  8. I think, that first period should be Ostrogothic or Eastroman rather than Lombard.

Belisarivs and Narses conquered Italy on Ostrogoths for Byzantines.

Byzantine rulers didn't take much care about it and therefore they lost it to Lombards.

I like native names. It just looks good. It isn't that much important but looks cool.

  9. Fact is, that Frankish kingdom incorporated both, Germany and France. And it is also well known, that its main striking force was in cavalry. When I think about it, it wouldn't go much against history to have more cavalry units. Time will show whether it won't go much against gameplay and balance.
