I am using Photoshop CS *Wants CS2* For the balrog one I took the IPB template, desaturated it and made it darker. It looks a little bit more IPBish now.

[24-bit PNGs, do not view with Internet Explorer] Well I start with the basic template, as such: I then take features from the original, like this: I then match the colours using gradients: Next I select the arms, inverse the selection, feather the selection by 0.2 pixels and hit delete twice: Shove in some of the IPB facial features and I'm done: Anyway, my latest creation:

Is that open source? I like Filezilla myself, it is a great program, I just dunno about an FTP server...

FTP is a protocol for transferring only files, it is called File Transfer Protocol afterall... I'm sure someone could make an open source FTP client and server.
