  1. rotfl Quite exilarating! I wonder if we should make a pre-emptive attack on those awful beings. Let's annihilate that red bolshevic and traitor planet!
  2. Alternatives ending? Hmm, i wonder if those were cut away from the domestic market version...
  3. Why could he only make that law after that war? @Klaas: that's what I was thaught, so blame my history teacher for that. Anyway, it could be because of both that reasons. Because the American Independence wars were fought starting from 1774 to 1777 (IIRC), wether Napoleon siezed power in 1799: in 1777 he was pretty young.
  4. Moreover Napoleon could make that law only "after" the American Indipendence War, even if France and the U.S. were allied for most of the napoleonic wars period...
  5. I've watched "28 days later...", by Danny Boyle. Man, he's a genius! Matteo
  6. Tim, hold on. I hope that you got some more clues about how resolving your problem.
  7. It is not illegal, but they are not counted as legal proofs. There is a privacy issue here, that was introduced some years ago, that requests an approval from people being recorded. But i dunno if this applies also to crimes or illegal things (as harassment prolly is). Anyway, taped recordings may be easily manipulated (and it happened in clamorous cases, see the Ustica Airplane Disaster), and it may be quite difficult to prove this, and above all to restore lost information. Moreover, even if it's true that people may not remember exactly what was said, they easily remember the sense and tone of facts... So, no recording is a legal proof. This means that it is not accepted when it is the only way to prove something, but it may be accepted if there are other clues... But i'm no lawyer, so things can be different from what i've said... ...and we're getting OT without helping much Tim
  8. Tim, as said by Cat, harassment is not an acceptable thing. As for recording conversations, the problem is if German law accepts them as legal proof when done without the agreement of the people involved (here in Italy the are not a legal proof). You should clear this, before doing anything that could result in a "double edged" weapon, if you know what i mean... ...the best thing would be to arrange someone to be present at one of the episodes (the culprits not being aware of) so that there is a witness to be called in a legal action (but i think that someone outside the family would be much more valuable in front of a judge). Do not mind to send me a mail, or a PM, if you need some more advice. Matteo
  9. Locomotive breath-Jethro Tull Since i've been loving you-Led Zeppelin Can't decide
  10. Since the other "Happy birthday Kapone" thread was declared the official one, i ask the moderators for a threadlock, thanks
  11. A further improvement could be some popup "unstickable" stickies that explain what a link is intended for, or someting like that. Example: Link: The WFG Community Popup: Here is were everyone should go at least once, when he logs in to the forums! But maybe this is too much, or too confusing (relying on a 33.6 bps line, i'm one of the "light site" promoters )
  12. *bows* Well, having been in the editing team of the University Librarian Service Homepage, i had some good experience and feedback. The bad side of the story is that almost none of the suggestion we gathered to improve the site has been implemented so far...
  13. Curu: we all do Tim: with 20,3 posts per day: that is hardly a secret! As for me: uh, i dunno: i suppose to be as transparent as a glass of water Rohirwine
  14. Well, i think a direct link to the Wfg community, placed were you can't ignore it (e.g. on top of all others) can be a solution. Another one can be a estension of the "links directory" to comprehend WFG community even in the 0AD and TLA forums i try to make a sort of example here, for istance from the Green Dragon you should be able to see this URL chain: Wfg Community Forums-> TLA Community Forums -> The Last Alliance->The Green Dragon. If something is easily accessible, it should be prolly more frequented, imho. Rohirwine
  15. Tim, Tim, You should chek better the forum.... Rohirwine
  16. Hi, welcome! If you need any help, please ask, everybody here is likely to be willing to help you.
  17. Because i have many stamps here that i want to get rid of (for free, of course). They're nothing much valuable, but their condition is fine. Contact me via e-mail if you are interested. Hope this is not against forums rules...
  18. Welcome back, even if we do not know already. I hope we can get to know each other well in the next period.
  19. Hmm, i think i would like to keep my tendency to find something good in the worst situations...
  20. Let me wonder: are you from Poland, aren't you? Mae Govannen Vinzislav, i'm sure the TLA project has something to make you to draw...
  21. Welcome: even if we already met in the Hall of Intellectuals, haven't we?
