What Is An Interpretation ?

And remember that "translate" has always something to do with "betray" as our spanish friends know... -
It attracted my attention the fact that, if it were to be considered a planet, it's temporary name (Sedna) should be changed to match the other planets names... ...i wonder why there is such a need: Sedna is abeautiful name, and, moreover, i do not see why there should be a Latin Pantheon monopoly...

Swellik, not ot insist, have you ever played one of the Close Combat series games? Some things you (and Blak Op) suggested were already there. The only limit is that you don't "build" armies: you play only the combat part of the story (and it's very entertaining Klaas, i guarantee!), but you are allowed to upgrade your units as you go on in the campaign. and your units get more experienced and gain morale with the passing of time (of course only if they survive the bloodshed )

How Do You Take Down Notes?
rohirwine replied to rohirwine's topic in Introductions & Off-Topic Discussion
Ouch! I wonder how you're able to read them after a while... ;p I try to reduce things on paper, rather than write with tiny letters (also because i would find difficult to read anything after a few weeks ) Matteo P.S. Timbo: it was Ryan, not Me -
How Do You Take Down Notes?

This is not such a problem in Hebrew, since in Hebrew script one normally only has to write the consonants - a kind of shorthand, if you like. Makes for a much faster dictation speed. B-) Burarum, this sounds very... hmmm... ...hasty... -
What Is An Interpretation ?

Imho it's not only that (even if it's very important). You should also find how the author reaches his intent, i.e. wich kind of figures he uses to describe the themes. Having done that (theme + style) you've done 2/3 of the job... -

I voted no, because there is a bunch of well researched WWII games out there: the whole "Close Combat" series is terrific. And it has nice graphics that still withstand the natural "wearing of time". And there are also many more turn based games worth of palying. Maybe a Mod Pack should be better...

It's intended to be a place where everyone can describe his method at taking down notes. Maybe we can get some profitable hint from other's ways of studying. For istance: i take very "graphical" notes, in the sense that i divide concepts with grafical signs and with actual spatial separation (like square boxes linked by arrows and so on). Moreover i use to number the pages (otherwise i would soon find myself in big troubles). As for summarizing books i have to study, i use the same method, but with a particular timing. First i read a chapter, then i try to list the most important concepts by mind. Then i check the outcome and, if i'm not satisfied with it, i add the things that were left out and then i copy it all on a new sheet. After that i must say that i almost don't go back to the book: i rely mainly on my notes. And now it'syour turn. Matteo
