  1. A while ago @WhiteTreePaladin suggested to set the precision, but I don't know if he or anyone else has a more concrete idea about that.

For starters, I'd like to suggest to not display numbers after the decimal point (for missing resources to buy a tech). The resources I have don't show fractions, so just do whatever rounding you use and show the integer; otherwise I think it can get quite ridiculous... ^^

Probably not a bad idea - at least some precision should be set.

Maybe I need to do some thing to secure a small piece of territory where I can build the dock or find an interim storage facility so that work can continue...

No. Neither can you secure a bit of territory nor do you need it for a dock; and the only kind of 'interim storage facility' would be a dock...

I arrive by ship then disembark the workers place a dock site in the only position available (on the waterfront) work commences

Sounds like it should work. If you attached a replay or at least a screenshot showing the dock, ppl here would probably able to better help you.

I might be a tad late to the party, but I don't get the brick pattern on the tower, specifically the corners/cornerstones.

This is leather? If I were to craft anything like this, I'd try to make sturdy panels for each side, attaching them to the corner poles of the tower; that would be clear edges, and certainly no leather pieces would go around the corner. A bit more like the first one on the left or the lower one:

And I'd probably have additional vertical leather pieces protect the corners...

Before changing anything, it is important to know what exactly is expected in the summary screen.

I said I expect a description of my society. Any other expectations out there? Shall we make a poll?

But technically speaking, total should be a total.

Like, totally? But what total do you mean here?

    The starting units doesn't count.

So, besides me mixing up several numbers... ^^

I expected a 'description of my society' rather than a description of my training history. I guess that one stat doesn't really matter, but which do you think it should be?

3 units who are workers without the worker class.

Yeah. I guess I just should know/understand that?

    feminization = female citizens / workers * 100 = 44 / 44 * 100 = 100%

One might say that it is not expected.(I for one did not)

  6. It's all so disgusting.

The Council of Ministers will have a final vote on this on the 15th. Since Italy, Poland, Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands and Luxembourg already announced that they'll vote 'No', Germany could still prevent it. But of course that's not gonna happen. Instead our great Minister of Justice wants to say 'please use no upload-filters to filter the uploads'...

But hey, we'll probably have a traffic light with cute Romans this year in Bergkamen! So not everything's bad, right? Right?

For this map-aera problem, one could make it so that the map area relates to the passable map area, not the total map aera, but not sure if that makes it really more expected.

    Might be worth a try.

Yes, that was bad. I had already removed 20-30% of the forests and there is still too few space. The map author actually said it's the intention of the map that players have to use docks and chop wood. So I still think there is more deforestation necessary before I play that map.

Yeah, I saw that one spot where I could've 'docked & chopped'; but to aim my whole game play to that, only to be able to build a full set of my civ's buildings? 'Luckily' that was one of the games that crashed, so I didn't have to go through with it...

They aren't fake. I guess you're asking for tooltip that tells you that you need a merchant to pick it up.

So, that's what's up. Good to know! :D

That's the case on about every map that comes with a small river or passages. Might be fixed by making docks not placeable in places where there is only space for a ship. But then players report that as a bug that they can't build a dock there. So eh, not sure what we're supposed to do. Players at least can expect from the size of the ship and the dock that this will be blocking in some areas. For this specific maps the thames can become larger.

As a first step the ridiculous size of the ships could be decreased. And maybe I'm just a bit daft, but 'expecting' anything in this regard is always guesswork for me. I wish it would be easier to tell what waters are 'ornamental', and which are navigable; or in this case with the Thames, to what degree they are navigable.

which I suspect is part of the reason why the "Land" filter is the "Default" one. But all of this feedback is feedback for ship and map development, not for the gamesetup filtering, no?

If we are talking about picking maps from the material we've got, it's both? ;)
