Currently they are activated but not displayed in activated because there is now displayed what is saved in config

maybe just move them between two mod sections and change to up/down arrows? not sure if removing them would not create confusion how to actually enable mods before finding out about double click

Rejoin is not the same as late join
if you want them to not come back, use /ban instead of /kick that should solve it.

and it does not work because what you get from Ubuntu is from development version old 800 commits, not release version, which you can get by compiling source from our release repository

can you please describe what it is in civ 4 looks like? or what specifically do you have in mind by more detailed?
anyway, it would be possible, but someone needs to find time and do it or at least create some kind of blueprint, complete suggestion to see if it would be welcomed
