@fatherbushido I'm not sure since I play only against the AI. I'm fine with the decision of slowing down the champion production speed. But I'm sensing that the stronger MP players have side-comments against Boudicca. I have leanings towards option #2 simply because I'm a former Dota (Warcraft III) player. BUT along with the nuances of a Warcraft hero.... which is not recommended for an Alpha-stage game.

First revamping the champions, and now this. Seems to me that Boudicca is the monkey wrench of the game mechanics.

If there is an easier way to configure the keys, then I generally won't care however you guys set the defaults. For now, I like my left hand on the left side of the keyboard. I tend not to use the keyboard shortcuts since shift+click > shift+any_key.

Not for me. I often prefer to align myself at the bottom of the map so that I can expand "upwards". I've also seen at least two Youtubers who like looking at the front of the buildings. Not to mention that there are maps (the ones with mountains for example) that kind of forces you to rotate the camera just to plunk down a building nicely without blocking your view.

Counter-system? I didn't even think there was one except that spearman x3 to Cavalry thing. lol

You just had to rub it in, did ya? Hadn't they liked the game, I would've seen them as pure trolls. But no, I had to watch through how they tear down the game's features bit by bit until there's nothing left. And I'm one of those who believe that nothing beats a classic. I just had to agree.

I ran out of videos to hunt down.

Not fair @borg-. Turns out you've been holding out on us. Please bring back the other replay.

I built the game, now for my stupid questions thread

Question: Did you notice that the men can build Military buildings as well as economic? Welcome to 0 A.D. -
Please help us create an FAQ for the web site

Q: How do you Attack a building instead of Capturing it? A: Hold Ctrl before right-clicking on the building you want to attack. -
Ding dong! We have a new addition to the FAQ. Press Ctrl

Put the buildings in a control group. That's what I currently do while I wait for the hotkeys.

Shameless plug! Yes, that's Normal Difficulty. Too bad I no longer have the replay file to prove it.

I don't know if you managed to edit it yet, but I think you posted the wrong replay. It was you getting the Britons to Town Phase for as early as 4 minutes. Please don't delete it, however. It was amazing!

Hopefully someday, I can be at least as good at presenting the game as this guy.

Thanks for all the feedback, guys! Gonna note them down. For now, I think I need to improve on two things: Equipment - My current hardware's processing capacity greatly sacrifices video quality for the sake of a cleaner audio. So the best I can come up with is to save up for a budget mic (specifically the snowball)... I'm not sure how long that would take me, though. Communication Skills - It's my first time actually talking to my computer where somebody else would hear it. So my confidence and ability to enunciate words properly in English (which obviously isn't my native language) isn't great. However, since this is the skill that I know I can obtain through experience and your help, I am going to put much of my effort in improving on this one first. If you want to leave advice/comments here, that's fine. But I'd prefer that you give those comments on my video just so we can keep this thread relatively clean. So here's my next video:

Speak for yourself! I just saw a video of someone playing it, and I'm again hyped to wait for the next Alpha. The meshes, the animations, the icons... I might be wrong but are the champions also getting the Experience system? That's so cool!

Okay, guys. This time I NEED your feedback. Did I cover it enough? Did I miss anything? Was my voice annoying? I want to continue doing this, but I don't know if I should.

I noticed that the Macedonian Ram managed to take down a "deployed" Catapult Entity but managed to spawn the "packed" Catapult" Entity.
-
One more game after this... just to complete all the factions.
-
Not as fast as the ones who do real rushes, but I didn't expect to finish this in record time. It's my fastest game yet.

Do the Mauryans have another strategy besides the Archers + Elephants Combo? Also, are the Elephant Archers being designed to be siege weapons as well, or should they stay being "fast cavalry archers"?

I havejust changed my position regarding this. Although I prefer capture-by-default, I'm going to consider those who are new to the game. Attacking-by-default is just intuitive gameplay-wise. When you click your units on anything that is "enemy", you EXPECT them to attack it... and not get them to stand close to it and wonder why its HP isn't going down. If you haven't checked it, a Youtuber named Loud Mics even thought that buildings were having this "blue shields" that made them "immune to attacks", and that Siege Weapons were the only solution to "bypass" those shields. I already explained the Capture mechanic to him, but he let me realize that it's not a beginner-friendly feature. Hence, against my preference, please attack-by-default.
