  1. Okay. I think the color palettes are much better now. Less unnecessary movements (before, the economic units flying in a circle was an eyesore to me). Build time and possibly resource-gathering slowed down while the military action was fast. Almost every military unit is a "walking turret". The game now looks fun.

  5. You guys are teaching the greatest exploit. That ain't fair, man! On the flipside, though, it was hilarious seeing how everybody was going "After them!" while you were busy mustering up your pikemen. When I first saw your replay going against 8 (I think it was eight) Very Hard AIs, I was imagining a comedic chase background music.

  7. causative said they are (a) a waste of resources, and (b) easy to walk *around. I thought reducing the cost kind of solves it... in a non-creative way of course. But the tendency to drag the game out is one I haven't considered. Can't solve that part of the prong.
  8. Reducing the cost (because houses are the preferred walls) is my only suggestion. Preventing archers from shooting through them is a useful bugfix.
  9. 7. In the previous guide "Ptolemies are weird!" 18. Except for the ones that you can train in Town Phase, I hold the opinion that Champion Units LOST their value in Alpha 21. The thesis behind it was "The pattern is always 'Race to City Phase and spam your champions'. Let's reduce that."
  10. You gotta understand that I'm a non-AoE2 player. I make videos as if 0 A.D. is ready to be in Beta, and the first time I saw DE I thought it was too complicated. I'm gonna some AoE3 gameplays from time to time just to remind myself of that... Oh wait! Nevermind, after just one sentence I forgot there's DE too.
  11. The graphics definitely looks like 0 A.D. in its early 3D stage. In terms of gameplay, though, I'm beginning to understand why AoE2 and AoE3 are still ahead.

  14. A comment on Alekusu's DE Video: "Really good video. This mod is great." I'm like "You won't be using those periods once that series goes on." Anyway, 12 minutes in... I think I have a "First!" guy.
  15. @Alekusu Just do all. @fcxSanya says he prefers multiple versions. Me and the Anavultus have already done some cross-overs among them anyway. But if you're really wanting things I can't commentate on: +200 pop games 35+ minutes games Those are the games that my machine can't handle.

  18. Not sure how Alpha 22 or 23's gonna look like, but the future of the Citizen Soldier is very bleak. There were comments on certain threads both here and here. I like the comment in the former link that this game has no "wimpy villys". And that there are anti-rush units in the latter link. What happened? We have wimpy, and easily-rushed units. Gonna talk about this later, coz I gotta go.

  20. Poor sergui. Not even Hardest AI wants to let him win. Anyway, back to that kid. It's those child-like comments that made me think Selerie Sticks was a prepubescent male. I didn't even realize back then that she was making some social and political statements.
  21. Next AoE, New AoE, Age of Empires 4... It's debatable in the RTS Community, but 0 A.D. seems to be taking the crown amongst Youtubers.
  22. I think the slaves mechanic kind of makes sense if auto-queueing mechanic is implemented... or they serve as "you're going to delete them later anyway"
