    Yes.

No. (I developed it, so I know for sure ;))

Edit: After re-reading, I partially have to take that No back: If you want to host a lobbied game and then join via direct connect, that is because of lobby authentication.

It could be dependent on STUN/NAT-Hole Punching.

Could also be because of your router, some don't allow internal devices accessing another internal device via the routers global IP

@nsg3 You will find public.zip where it is actually installed on Linux systems in the system files not your home directory /usr/games/0ad/mods/public/public.zip and a reminder that you can not change any file there without elevated privileges ie: sudo so it's terminal time unless your distro has the option of "Open as root" with your file browser this is an option that is usually turned off by default ;)

    Enjoy the Choice :)

    I guess you mean /usr/share/games/0ad/mods/public/public.zip

Then people started telling me that the Romans actually only depict the Republic era Romans. Why? What's the point of this? Now I'm learning that they don't even represent the republic, but the Polybian era (290 BC - 130 BC) specifically..

Decisions of the original designers aren't set in stone. If it makes more sense and people agree, things can be changed. (I don't have the authority to say if that is applicable to this case)

Question: Who worked on the UI for this? Mainly the hero selection at the beginning? Would love to do something like that for Delenda Est.

We could also use it for the main game, for the regicide mode.

So, to assign these to the unit actors, I think each helmet should be listed and their provenance detailed, then they can be assigned accordingly. KnowwhatImean (unless there is already a thread like this that I missed)? Kind of like this:

celt_helmet_agris: Western France, 350 BC. I suggest for the Gallic hero Brennus. His current Waterloo helmet should probably go to a Britons hero.

celt_helmet_berru: Central Europe (Austria) Late Hallstatt (500 BC). Uncertain that this can be used. Bueller? Bueller?

celt_helmet_ciumesti: Eastern Europe (Romania), Mid-La Tene. Elite unit?

celt_helmet_ciumesti_raven: Eastern Europe (Romania), Mid-La Tene. Gallic hero Viridomarus

celt_helmet_classic_coolus: Southern France? Mid-Late La Tene? Gallic Champion Infantry? Can have some plumed variants?

celt_helmet_coolus: France, Northern Italy. Late La Tene. Gallic Spear Infantry?

celt_helmet_marne: Northeast France. Time period? Unit?

celt_helmet_montefortino: Southern France, Northern Italy. Late La Tene. Unit?

celt_helmet_peaked: Britain, early Empire. Perhaps rename to celt_helmet_meyrick to be more precise? Britons infantry?

celt_helmet_port: France. Late La Tene. Gallic Champion Cavalry.

celt_helmet_waterloo: River Thames, Southern Britain. Mid-Late La Tene. Briton Hero?

I guess it would be best to make that a wiki page
