  1. Running the replay nonvisually upon user initiated reports would work. Would also require a tool to change the ratings manually without having to restart the ratings server. Still annoying as there is about a report every day. It could just work without user interaction. Might want to estimate how much renting a/the server/s would cost (the processing power). (Pulling the ethernet wire is considered rating fakery. I just mean it's technically impossible from our side to prevent people from doing so.)
  2. It's allowed to press Alt+F4 and allowed to pull the network wire. Detecting if the user doest that requires rewriting of half the networking code and renting at least one server that simulates every online game.
  3. First thing I'd do is try to disable all graphics settings, most importantly GLSL. If that doesn't help, it might be some directory permission issue with the config or cache paths http://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths Let us know if it helps. Hardware and OS detection code is outdated, neglected and broken, so no surprise there

    AI ERROR!

Might be either a related or exactly the needed fix: r20479 | mimo | 2017-11-19 15:56:22 +0100 (So, 19 Nov 2017) | 1 line petra: a few tunings and add a protection in tradeRoute serialization in case a market was destroyed in the last few turns between AI running and serialization
  5. The patch to fix all resource collisions of initial resources (with the exception of tiny stronghold maps) is about to be pushed. Collisions with iberian walls should be easy to deal with afterwards. There is D189 which will also be fixed soonish that will prevent sone mines in other stone mines. Trees outside of the reachable map area have been fixed in all cases I'm aware of in alpha 23. If there are other things than that (things placed on impassble mountains or cliffs), keep the replays coming.
  6. Rename savegame-0004.0adsave to savegame-0004.0adsave.zip might work. Right-click, open with, zip archive reader might work too.
  7. savegame-0004.0adsave = zip file
  8. You know what a zip file is, right? savegame-0004.0adsave is a ZIP archive that contains two files. one of them is simulation.dat
  9. and now you want the simulation.dat? Try to open the 0adsave file with a zip program (in case I didn't mention it yet)
  10. I guess you want two example files. commands.txt simulation.dat
  11. savegame-0004.0adsave_FILES/metadata.json: "timestamp": 1511319857, savegame-0005.0adsave_FILES/metadata.json: "timestamp": 1511319857, savegame-0006.0adsave_FILES/metadata.json: "timestamp": 1511320424, 2017-11-22_0001/commands.txt timestamp":1511319857, 2017-11-22_0002/commands.txt timestamp":1511320424, pyrogenesis.exe -replay-visual="....\2017-11-22_0002\commands.txt" -load="...\savegame-0006.0adsave_FILES\simulation.dat" works for me. Perhaps you could not unzip the savegame-0004.0adsave file because the windows file manager prevented you from changing the file extension. Can you try to open the file with a zip program?
  12. You need a savegame and the replay starting from that savegame if you want to replay a match that starts after a savegame.
  13. Your upload contains two savegames, I don't know which one is the right one. I have mentioned that the file should be renamed to .zip, right? So in your case it would be a rename from savegame-0043.0adsave to savegame-0043.0adsave.zip. Then you can unzip it. I have done that and zipped them again for uploading xd Perhaps you know which one is the right savegame or can find out with the file modification dates. Remember you need the right svn version of the time you have played the game. goodsavegamesunzipped.zip
  14. and I thought the entire time the question was getting Catalan added as a new language. It's indeed already there. So that what leper said.
  15. At least anyone who wants to keep track and possibly write a release announcement. I still don't know what was all in that Enrique new years eve commit, but he made some great video showing off the things. If Stan leaves, that would be very unexpected indeed after still not having left after all these years of rejection :-)
  16. Hi Phalanx! The last pyrogenesis.exe was generated two weeks ago which should explain many funny errors. Our autobuild guy is currently giving a presentation on 0AD, but we hope it will be fixed soon enough. I can't login there either currently. Until then, the usual https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/BuildInstructions hold.
  17. A decade ago I switched to Linux because I was fascinated by the free & open source software approach that attempted to create a real alternative to Microsofts monopoly on operating system software. But it wasn't until late 2014 when I was looking for free & open source games to play when I discovered the qualitatively best of all of them - this one. I noticed there were a few bugs here and there and as I didn't do anything besides programming in my life anyway, I thought maybe they could use someone. They could. I'm not sure why anyone would look down on open source (in the sense of detesting open source games), but I'm certain it's a mutual relation.
  18. It is not hidden, it is inside the ....0adsave file which is just a renamed zip file. Just upload the savegame
  19. The replay folder contains replays, the savegame folder contains the savegames. simulation.dat is one of the two files in the savegame. Indeed it would be reasonable to put them in the same folder sometime or at least use matching directory names.
  20. It doesn't matter which OS. Can you upload the savegame? It is needed because it contains that house you built before loading the savegame, and all the rest.
  21. Just add a .zip so you can unzip the file, yes
  22. At least a translation for ᚨᛚᚠᚨᛞᚺᛁᚱᚺᚨᛁᛏᛁ can be found here http://lyricstranslate.com/de/heilung-alfadhirhaiti-lyrics.html
  23. The second replay was started from a savegame, right? Then find the savegame file http://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths Then rename savegame.0addata to savegame.zip Then unzip
