  1. It will be a while. We have put off campaign mode(s) to get more critical functionality done first.
  2. It doesn't work with AIs yet, so disable those before starting a match. He will add support for those later when he starts fixing the AI framework.
  3. It would work like AoK. You just have to be in proximity.
  4. That's what I prefer, because it's simpler. I think he wanted to make capturing the same for units and buildings. I generally prefer consistency also. However, I think being in the general area of animals and right clicking on buildings, are easy and intuitive enough that it's worth making them different to avoid having to press a button.
  5. That's like the market icon. I guess we could use that, but I kind of favored the coins myself. http://trac.wildfiregames.com/browser/ps/trunk/binaries/data/mods/public/art/textures/ui/session/icons/single/economics.png
  6. Hmm, don't think we're going to make that.
  7. I'm afraid there is no more Gaddafi. [edit] Anyway, there's only 5 choices in the poll.
  8. I'm seriously thinking that should just be double click. Triple click would still be nice to select off-screen units.
  9. Generally, visitors are allowed a bit more freedom so that they can claim they are open. They heavily restrict the internet for their own people. There was even a major story not long ago about Google leaving because they didn't want to follow the censorship rules. As for me, I'd choose Israel first, and Japan or Taiwan second.
  10. I tend to get them mixed up myself. Maybe the apples should be cartoonishly large? (Like our swords currently are.)
  11. We could do unlimited, but only after researching an expensive technology. That way it would be costly, but would still allow cheap farms at the beginning of the game. Once you have an economy going and you're trying to keep your unit queues full and manage battles, it's more of an irritation to have to worry about farm queues. An expensive late game technology could perhaps be the best of both worlds. Could be researched at the farmstead, market, or civil center.
  12. Simply click a building on the map; before you let go of the button, move the mouse around.
  13. So that works for any texture (like the hero star decals)?
  14. Hellenes - citizen soldier javelinists and archers are a bit too strong. The super javelinists are not worth it. Iberians - stone requirements for basic units makes them a bit weak, especially when you need that stone for other things. Perhaps lower the amount of stone needed. Celts - not enough siege power. Carthaginians - not familiar enough with them yet.
  15. You do start with some soldiers on most maps. Perhaps we should make converting happen very, very quickly if you don't have some of your own solders nearby. That way, if a player only has female citizens, the enemy can just convert them all, instead of just dispatching them. In that case, they could be conquest critical.
  16. I was just referring to units because they are easy. Structures are a bit trickier to define. I also think that civil centers shouldn't really train military units. If a player has only female citizens and traders, they shouldn't be able to build any structures that can train military units, IMO.
  17. Soldiers (and maybe siege and war ships) are the only units that should be conquest critical IMO.
  18. I don't have Windows 7, but perhaps someone who does will be interested. You might want to post on some other relevant forums also.
