  1. I think sending a caravan unit carrying resources as a tribute would really add something to the gameplay. It requires full cooperation of allies in order to make sure there is a safe path along which to transport these resources. Maybe also a treasure boat (or whatever you want to call it) for water maps?

and enemy scouts to Assault the wagon. and have the Trasure. you play Zelda Twilight Princess, you must protect a Wagon from Barbarians Goblins, In HBO Rome series(TV) the Optimates rout with a Wagon and Caesars men intercept the wagon and steal the wagon.
  2. Lion, on your screenshot at #36, I guess you raised saturation a bit, right ? It's nice, it's your style. ;)

yes, i was use in some situations the color to send messages, in this case a Colourful Paradise. and other could be more Dramatic.
  3. Scenario editor:

-ZOMBIES!! Make some zombie units, about 5 or 6 models and skins. Make them slow (about 80% the speed of a foot man), big LOS so they can detect your units easily, nedium-high melee attack and lots of HP. You may make the unit that is killed by a zombie to become a zombie too (and change its player color to the zombie's player color).

could be more real if they are Riots than zombies?
  4. after update today.

all maps, if you select any unit.

  5. Mayans painted their buildings in many beautiful colors (inside and outside), many people think that their buildings were all rocky and the interior of their houses looked like a cave but it is not true, the buildings were covered by cement, they invented it, and painted in many colors.

Mayans did build walls, but in a different way and fashion from the standard medieval and iron age walls. They were small and multileveled.

    Some mayan walls:

The mayan gate wall of Tulum:

good Info. in my Country they don't Build Walls.
  6. the focus of the Mayans would, in any case, be focused primarily on their infantry. since unit classes are what they are, they could very well have every infantry class and one "cavalry" class; for another project of mine based on 0ad's designed, i decided to write up that the Aztecs get every infantry class and one "cavalry" class which is functionally the same as cavalry even though it's ACTUALLY an infantryman (it was the Eagle Warrior, in the same spirit as the Eagle Warriors in AOK: The Conquerors)

the Iberians also lack warships, yet they are planned for inclusion no matter what; the reasoning was that they didn't necessarily NEED warships as long as they had SOMETHING to get them across water (which would be their trading cogs) and that, on naval maps, they could instead rely on allies to do the naval fighting while they defend themselves and their allies and engage in land battles alongside them

and in point of fact, the Mayans apparently did engage in siege warfare. a quick google search brought this up, which mentions detailed depictions of siege warfare in Mayan culture: http://www.authentic...aya_warfare.htm though i'm honestly not sure if they really had siege weapons. in the same way that the Iberians may well need to depend on allies for a navy, the Mayans may have to for siege warfare. though there's nothing to say that, in typical RTS style, that they can't just start swinging their spears at the enemy gate even if that's discouraged and inefficient in actual gameplay. without having to devote alot of their resources to expensive siege weapons, they could easily spend that to get more (and cheaper) infantry to support themselves

i understand but i like think in many Indians that are in a RTS before. Olmecs, Zapotecs(AOE 3 Merceanries) etcs.

They don't Build Walls like Stone Walls but i don't know if with wood. the better people can talk about Mayans are Guatemalan and Belice. my People from my Country in Wester Honduras are decent from Mayan Collapse they called their self Lencas. That people Fight Agains Spanish Conqueror and one Warlord (il Empira in Old Spanish) Lempira was the Hero, that battles, but he defeated by Spanish, and his Head cutt off.
