  1. Thanks Torphin for this the Tower of Winds The Tower of the Winds is an octagonal Pentelic marble clocktower in the Roman Agora in Athens that functioned as a horologion or "timepiece". The structure features a combination of sundials, a water clock, and a wind vane.[1] It was supposedly built by Andronicus of Cyrrhus around 50 BC, but according to other sources, might have been constructed in the 2nd century BC before the rest of the forum. Can be nice building with big LOS and great stuff for City Designers. celtic Camp May can have Mercenary Camp Attributes for scenarios

  4. alekusu have right in 0 A.d The military career is in the star with CS( citizen Soldiers) and very early Rush is big possibly, different than Aok and mostly maps are not easily to defend o to cut the pass to your base like Starcraft ----- This strategy is good in team because you focus in a Attack enemy base but not defend yours. An ally is useful if can couter a enemy maneuver. And can be great task with a Turtle that uses skirmishers as base unit and palisades defending their base.

  18. Dont not forgot to main repo.-------------------------/-/--/------------ Artist's rendition of a Mycenaean warrior in full armor, alongside a "Tower" type shield. Original illustration by Christos Giannopoulos. Source: http://clustercritter.hubpages.com/hub/Shields-of-the-Classical-Antiquity# Bronze Age Greek Shields Most people would imagine a classical Hoplite Corinthian helmet, muscle-shaped breastplate, a heavy round shield and a spear when they think about the ancient Greek. Those are the Greeks at the dawn of the Iron Age. The history of ancient Greece however can be traced to a much earlier period The Mycenaean civilization, where ironworking has yet to be discovered, and chariot warfare still reign supreme. The Mycenaean Greek used several different designs of shield the Fgure-of-Eight shield, the "Proto-Dipylon" shield and what modern archaeologists dubbed the Tower Shield. These shields were made of several layers of bull hide stitched to a wicker and wooden structure, sometime reinforced with leather rim and metal shield boss. Some shields might also be covered with thin bronze sheet. Most Mycenaean shields are body-length, a feature that offered a much-needed protection to their warriors, who often wore next to nothing in battle (Some Mycenaean warriors with higher social status does come with full set of armor though).
