  1. Lol, I actually used the search engine but now it has artificial intelligence. But that's was a teaser campaign definition. But if we want to know how to make a teaser campaign. In Spanish it is called "campaña de revelación". https://www.indeed.com/career-advice/career-development/what-is-teaser-campaign https://www.canva.com/learn/10-tactics-for-launching-a-product-using-social-media/ Teaser campaign is good for new product launches, entertainment like new movies and video games. When I learned it, the hashtags were not popular.(They barely existed that was back in the distant 2007). It always starts with an image that appeals to curiosity without revealing what it is about. Even though we only have one product, it wouldn't be so mysterious if it was 0 AD. But a new release and new features could create an expectation. A loading bar would work well. Teaser trailers are often used.
  2. I would like to use the teaser style campaign. I'm talking about advertising. Teaser campaigns are a marketing strategy that uses intriguing content to create curiosity and anticipation for a product or brand launch. Here are some tips for creating a teaser campaign: Create an intriguing message: Use phrases like "sneak peek" or "big news" to generate interest without giving away too much. Use visuals: High-quality images, videos, and graphics can grab attention and make content shareable. Build anticipation: Use a countdown timer on social media or your website to build excitement. Drip-feed information: Release teasers gradually to maintain momentum and anticipation. Encourage engagement: Invite your audience to speculate and share. Define your target audience: Understanding your audience will inform every creative decision. Designate a hashtag: Hashtags make it easy to categorize your product and collect content in one place.
  3. Are you guys putting on to lobby new code and updates?
  4. It's working... Jan 6. Spanish: Saludos cordiales! Translation: Greetings! Given the flurry of news about the 0AD game, I decided to try to test with flatpak, but it turns out that the game is in the same version or almost the same as in my debian stable. Is it possible that there are more 'modern' flatpak repositories? or should I compile the game from source to see what's new? https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BRaY2V9GZ/
  5. That cliff thing is good for the game, it would be an excellent transformation tool. And it would be excellent to make it compatible with the Nabataeans.
  6. The interesting thing is that the original genie engine had terrain modification. https://aoe.heavengames.com/cgi-bin/aoecgi/display.cgi?action=st&fn=12&tn=6265 the world, has surfaced. This, dear Age fans, is the earliest iteration of what eventually became Age of Empires. It has been unearthed amongst other amazing treasury at the Strong Museum of Play, by curators Andrew Borman and Lauren, who just announced the amazing discovery on Twitter. I contacted Andrew and asked him for further information. Here's his reply: "The Bruce C. Shelley Papers were donated to the Strong in September 2016. The date on the .exe is 9/23/1995. It is fairly barebones, but does allow for editing which is nice. Only two test scenarios are available. The large majority of the data is the graphics, which look to just be BMP files." This is as primitive as it's going to get. A fully working, extremely early Dawn of Man build, with some basic functionality - still a long way off from completion. The raw ingredients are there however. This is quite the reminder to what happened when Tony Goodman sent some very nice things to one our HG staff members, TAG - right around the same time. You can view those here. Also, there is going to be a livestream featuring this very same DoM build next friday, so you can see what it is like: "I will be doing a stream of the game, likely next Friday, April 13th at 4PM EST on our Twitch channel. It’s not 100% set in stone yet, but that is likely to be what happens. Ill also be bringing in some of the other documents related to Age of Empires during the stream, so it will be about as comprehensive as I can do in the span of an hour on a stream." Which is very exciting news, and will give us an awesome look into both the past and the development that went into AoE
  7. I was thinking about putting more options in the single player.I mean options for neutral buildings... Other game modes. Some things from Delenda est.
  8. The game is theoretically separate. I was thinking about the needs of the competitive and the casual. Mostly the competitive is represented sitting in the multiplayer. The other is the single player where I would like to have more gameplay options. But they always say no because it isn't popular in the competitive. I wish there were more options in the single player. What I don't know is that it's how technically possible. Or easy. I leave it for very long-term thinking. They are also 2 types of audience.
  9. Who cares? At this point, what does it matter? This is what I mean by "pusilánimes". They care a lot about their image, which is important, and then they come up with the hypocrisy of tolerance. That's why I don't mind throwing myself into the mud. I defend what I believe without being bound by secular morality. Without fear of telling things as they are, that's how it was before. Now we only have a moral relativism that is just a empty shell and our global leaders are a reflection of what people are like. The consequences of postmodernism will be reaped by this generation.
  10. Ask the moderators. I have no problems that expel me. Kick me out of the project, lol.
  11. That's what this post is about, someone tried to blame the game. It is human behavior that we have here uses as a bad example.
  12. There are many videos that touch on the issue of online gaming behavior.
  13. This is what happens when morality, good customs and generational change are lost. But that has been lost since the 20th century. Now with the Internet we are reaping the rewards of young people and others who were not educated, nor have empathy. But it is also bad when it is exacerbated and good-natured. People become so arrogant that they find it difficult to fight against what is wrong. I am speaking in general to Western society. It is a tremendously hypocritical society. I say this as a second-rate Westerner that I am.
  14. Y? I am not politically correct, believe me, I can be worse. I don't even know who he was, it's obvious that he's upset and that he did something wrong. And if he didn't do it, he shouldn't have gotten so angry. I can vent to people, not to the project. I wasn't even upset. I was just discrediting a game, but a game is dreams and fun and someone else's work.
  15. The interesting thing here is... SimCity inspired Civilization, this gives an idea of how AoE will look and they already had an encyclopedia in Civilization. He also worked with Bruce Shelley. "The person who hired Shelley left the company after one year and gradually Shelley become one of the lowest paid coworkers in MicroProse. Due to these developments, as well as a changing atmosphere at Microprose, Shelley left the company by the end of 1992 and later joined Ensemble Studios.[4] There, he brought ideas from Civilization and led the development of the early titles in the Age of Empires series, first released in 1997.[2] Through fellow designers Brian Reynolds and Dave Pottinger". https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Shelley The development phases of the Age of Empires series games are similar in several respects. As the game is based on historical events, the team conducts research beforehand,[68] although this is not intensive. Designer Bruce Shelley noted that "doing in-depth research is not a good idea for most entertainment products."[68] Shelley also says that Ensemble Studios handled most of the reference material in children's sections of libraries. He states that the goal of the game is to make players have fun, "not its designers or its researchers."[68] According to him, the success of the series was based on making a game that would please both casual and experienced gamers.[69] Shelley commented that the games in the Age of Empires series are not about history per se, but "on the human experience"; focusing both on the achievements made by humanity and what humanity would accomplish in the future such as "space travel." https://es.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_Empires_(serie) Spanish version.
