  1. this is one of those areas where finding the right balance is good. Its probably not necessary to set in settings, but maybe the visual alert and audio alert can have separate suppression times. I think frequent visual alerts would be less annoying than frequent audio alerts.

  3. I made another "campaign map" after long time. I choose 235 B.C. for this map, because for me it's a crucial year for the "Ellenistic world" and its evolution. The civ you can choose are: Macedonians, Seleucids, Ptolemaics, Maurya, Parthians(Persians), Armenia(Iberians), Sarmatians(Britons), Aksum(Kushites) I made a small update to the map, adding a little of fauna, treasures and above all actors entities.   4. Thanks for the replay. In my opinion it doesn't prove that siege towers are OP, but slow and weak. In two cases you fight the big siege tower army with a smaller army which doesn't contain enough melee units. So it's not a big surprise that the siege towers win. In the end, the siege tower army gets defeated by the usage of a mixed army with some siege weapons and a small number of sword cavalry. Again, this doesn't look like the fact that siege towers are OP. However, it's remarkable that in this match a big army of Alexandre flees from the siege towers. At the other hand the siege tower army was also big. It might have been the right decision to retreat, but maybe he could have won if he would have commited his spearmen to bring the siege towers down.

  6. you need a sizeable number. Ive seen immortals take them down pretty effectively in the melee mode. Rams are pretty good, you can garrison them for some extra speed. With swords inside, its pretty good. Also, in many games you can take advantage of their extremely slow mobility by cutting losses and attacking other places/players.

  7. Hi all! I'm currently in the process of reorganizing the the unit actors and unit textures in the development (SVN) repo. Please bear with me if you're an SVN player. The rest of the changes will take perhaps the rest of this week. It'll be worth it, as the reorganization helps the art team moving forward and makes it easier to maintain assets. And as I'm going through everything I'm improving textures, actors, and adding some new things here and there. So content wise, everything will look nicer to the end user. Lastly, I'm deleting old lower resolution lower quality textures and unused textures (trust me, in the end you won't miss them). This will reduce graphics memory load. So, sit tight. My project shouldn't last much longer.
