We still have a few things to iron out and other things to merge like the encyclopedia, moderation tools, spidermonkey update ... Also the migration to gitea currently means we cannot make bundles like we used to, so that has to be fixed.
I only use snapping when I'm iber and want my houses to align with the walls; the one-click orientation is just faster. I gotta do the actual placement manually though, because the houses ALWAYS jump off the position I want them at when I click; dunno if it's because I use it with shift, but it's annoying.
I've tried it with palisades and walls in the current RC and was disappointed it didn't work. You still have to manually look for the right millimeter position if you want it to to start right at a building or mountain. And it's still annoying AF if you want to complete a barricade when (a) segment(s) have been shot out.
I really appreciate this feature as I've been trying to make myself more resistant to cav rushes. One missing aspect of snapping seems to be for palisades and walls. In the meantime there is progress on wall segments deleting trees upon completion. To complement that it would be great to snap palisades and wall segments to other buildings to help eliminate holes!
