gaRdi
A new forum, which even has RPG where you make your own character in either the Star Wars galaxy, or LOTR middle-earth. But it's also possible to be in both after your own wishes!Star Wars and Lord Of The Rings Forum!

gaRdi
Star Wars is cool.. but check out only the LOTR in the forum, just stay away from Star Wars when you hate it so much.. Noone forces you to the star wars threads..

Enarwaen
whereas i haven't looked at the site yet i can only say that i grew up on the "old" trilogy of Star Wars and watched them religiously the new prequel trilogy has left me at a sense of loss - since i personally feel they emphasize too much on effects and too less on storytelling. but all in all they are great movies ... and without Star Wars there would not be any LotR-movies just think about that.to cut the banter short:LotR Books -> LotR Movies = Old Star Wars Movies -> New Star Wars Movies
EKen132
I agree with your analogy. One of my favorite movies of all times is the original Star Wars Episode 4.
akya
for movies...SW 4 to 6for books...LotR
Black Op
I grew up watching Star Wars #4-6 and so I still like those films much. Only about the spring of 2001 did I start reading LOTR, and it took until last year for me to finish them all. However, I finished Silmarillion at a more efficent rate. But enough about that, I may go see these forums after I eat my soup.
gaRdi
thank you all, and I agree in what one of you said here:for readers: LOTRfor movie fans: SW since the star wars films are meant to be films not books, and vice versa with the LOTR books.. they're meant for reading, not moviemaking thanks again for taking a look at the forum/site
rohirwine
I like them both, but have to agree with Bernd about the ranking. Lotr is far more ahead...
Aldaron
I like both... Each has their ''charm''...
