I would actually like to introduce a 'cataphract' mixin for the game's templates.

yes, I thought it would be a slower version with more armor than the Lancer.

With less vitality, but resistance to pierce damage and cut.

the logic is that it can fight sword infantry and hold a fight vs  light spearman.

I'm not sure if the restoration of this armor is based on history, I mean many people try to imagine Iranian cavalry in terms of sculptures and rough paintings, but in my experience, the folds of the sleeves/trousers fabrics are easily affected by Mistakenly thought it was the texture of the armor.

I'm more interested use as referent for material and proportion.

Polish good bronze.

I have other references.

I found another photo.

It could be said that it is Sassanid Armor. But isn't enough different from Parthians.

The difference between the Sassanians and the Parthians is not very big, because many nobles of the latter are still serving the new dynasty after the fall of the Parthian dynasty.

The earliest evidence is from Pergamon, there is a relief with this kind of manica:

It depicts spoil of war taken from the Seleucid.

There is also a small figurine from Hellenistic art:

Having references to the original handles vs the reconstruction is just as productive.
