Lion.Kanzen
Derp, didn't see this suggestion was specifically for Aristeia. the minifaction is a concept accepted by some members of WFG. So may be can be included in main game. I wrote several posts in default forum , because I noticed the importance of have minors cultures. Im planning other similar concept based in AOE Revolution as Revolt system / Evolve system a Civ Evolving in other.
Germanic_celt79
Slightly [off topic]What is the whole deal, with both Millenium Ad and Aristeia, of release? Aristeia has one release for Alpha 16 and Millenium AD has none. Are you making it so that there's a big release with a few factions or releasing it faction by faction? niektb
The idea is more or less to release it faction by faction (not a strict rule though) but we don't have enough manpower to actively develop 3 mods consecutively so the releases are not on a very regular base.

Lion.Kanzen
Understand Stan is not a machine You are the man here, if Aristeia is playable again we need work with props and missing buildings ( all set) we need finish the Egyptian at all. Incluiding something similar to Viking ship.

Now back to the stove *whips* Just joking in case you were about to label me a slave owner, but seriously you do well with your models, and you work fast. Andrettin
Very good =)The door looks a bit too modern I think, and the texture of the walls should probably be something closer to this (this structure is from a later period, but the technique for making the wall is most similar): Edited February 17, 2015 by Andrettin
Stan`
Any idea for the door ?
Andrettin
I would just leave where the door is as an empty space. These buildings would be "sunken" into the ground (that's why the roof is so low), so that the bottom parts of the entrance wouldn't be visible in them (other than the door your building captures very well the "sunken-floor" aspect already).Either way, these are small details, I think that the building you've created is very good and fitting for this culture's architectural style; I am glad that this thread has inspired your efforts =) Edited February 17, 2015 by Andrettin

Germanic_celt79
That is great. Just a suggestion for it though, the little triangle hole in the roof and the door show darkness. Maybe if/when you work more on this idea you should make the interior visible, similar to the Mauryan Civic centre, this is assuming that it's possible, of course. Stan`
Its possible not easy cause I have no idea of what their interior look like but doable.
Germanic_celt79
I wouldn't be surprised if Andrettin had an image for their interior
Andrettin
I wouldn't be surprised if Andrettin had an image for their interior I don't unfortunately, although I do have images of the interior of iron age Germanic structures (which used similar, but not identical, construction techniques). Germanic_celt79
I'd imagine it'd have basic things like a fire. Perhaps it'd have a bed although it's more likely to be on the floor and barely considerable as a mattress (mind you, I've not done enough research to speak properly about this). It'd also probably have a dirt floor. That's just speculation, though.
Germanic_celt79
Found some stuff, you decide whether it's credible (for lack of a better word) or not. http://openarchaeology.info/institutional-members/bronzezeithof-uelsen-de Apparently interior of Germanic Bronze age farmstead.Longhouse Germanic Bronze age interior. http://lostfort.blogspot.com/2014/10/more-time-travel-tours.html For some reason the site goes on to describe the Murus Gallicus, so I'm not sure whether the above image is meant to be Celtic or Germanic.Edit: The latter one is probably correct, because it also describes Roman camps and Saxon longhouses. However it refers to the Bronze age one (image above) as Germanic. Edited February 18, 2015 by Germanic_celt79
