However, i see no point to discuss if it is more or less of a problem than a formation stuck; i just hope that this bug is easier to fix than pathfinder and it will be fixed before the release. zzippy Posted September 17, 2014 Share Posted September 17, 2014 (edited) Sure.Buildtime has increased from 160s to 250s, its armor decreased from 10Hack, 40Pierce, 10Crush to 3/25/1 ...Though arrow range might get nerfed too a little, since atm its still 80m, which is more than a cc .. Or make ranged infantry more effective against them because logically a horse is a big target and much easier to hit with a bow. I personally love rome but can't play them due to skirm cavs. Ackk. I can understand why this was done for economic techs, but it doesn't really seem necessary for military techs as long as its a choice between melee and ranged, not just spearmen and skirmishers. Also needed are three towers as trap. When Petra starts building the first civic centre I start attacking and do not stop.Since I'm pretty sure a human player would easily find a defense I'm very fond of the new balancing, especially the lack of paired technologies, but that's probably my personal view. Your single cavalry unit should be used for scouting, now he is also an amazing hunter (collects food way too quickly).
