Website menu is not displaying right in firefox

I can't confirm this.

For me the menu item has the right size for all subitems to fit in the dropdown (At least in Firefox and Opera).

My screen width is 1280 pixels and it also works properly if resizing the window (I just have to scroll horizontally as well to see everything).

Maybe it's your screen resolution (and changing windows size does not act the same) or something different I can't tell at first glance.

Did you use the latest version (29.0) of firefox? I tested it today and can't reproduce it. Even zooming in doesn't change anything. (Only changing the font type causes a similar thing in my case) (I must say that the latest firefox is working like a breeze!)

I can't reproduce this either (Firefox 28.0, Ubuntu 12.04). Sorry. Your Firefox is definitely displaying a different font face in the menu than it should though, that's the cause of this. The font it should be using is quite a bit more narrow.

I you set Firefox to zoom text only and then zoom in, then this will happen. The higher menu entries get truncated and the bottom menu entry gets truncated when it's highlighted (mouse hover)

  • 3 weeks later...

Just did a clean install of Ubuntu14.04 and the same happens.

I dont have zoom or anything else changed.

So i bet it is some browser/code issue.

It's not a game breaker guys, just a small glitch in the website!

i will try it on my worklaptop and see what happens there (12.04 lts)
