newcivs Posted January 3, 2014 Report Share Posted January 3, 2014 when i play with pre-marian romans "the romans of 0AD" and i try tu put the testudo for hastatus, extraordinarius and princeps the "testudo" apeears a normal formations, shiels srinking aside the soldiers but the "celling" don't appears, that means that if i attack with calvary javelinist or with elephants or infantry ranged i can find good points for attacka roman testudo Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sanderd17 Posted January 3, 2014 Report Share Posted January 3, 2014 Yes, sometimes it's just handy to arrive in group. There are some heros that give a "speed bonus" to formations though.
