Jeru
Wildfire Games proudly presents the new 0 A.D. website, a new showcase for the game and FOSS project we have all grown to love. You'll notice that the content has been redone, the design better reflects the interface within the game 0 A.D., and it is easier to get to download the version of 0 A.D. that is right for you.New AddressThe new website is available on http://play0ad.com.Please point your RSS readers to the new website if needed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/0AdNews(The old website will remain at http://www.wildfiregames.com/0ad for posterity and so as not to break any links to old pages. We'll put up a notice soon.)New FeaturesA new game manual, with video tutorials, is available on the new website, to help newbies negotiate the complexities of an RTS game. (Thanks, BrynnOfCastlegate!)Also, the global navigation on the top right corner will help surfers navigate between the main website, intended for a broad audience, and the forums and development wiki, which are usually for hardcore fans and developers. For the more technically inclined readers, the current website runs on Wordpress and conforms to modern web standards, which is important and a big step forward from our older website.CreditsA huge round of applause goes to the team members who made this thing happen:Geek377Brian Stempin (bstempi)GerbilOFDoomLudovic Celle (Ludo38)Michael Hafer (Mythos_Ruler), andPureonPlease enjoy and give feedback on the new website here!

MishFTW
A huge round of applause goes to the team members who made this thing happen:You forgot yourself Aviv Also I'd like to add that the theme is in fact available to the public under GPL2. Any feedback you guys can provide relating to any errors or things we may have overlooked would be much appreciated.
zoot
Looks slick!Any feedback you guys can provide relating to any errors or things we may have overlooked would be much appreciated. This is possibly a Linux Chromium idiosyncrasy, but the video thingy overlaps screenshots in my browser: Also, I think the download button would be a much more natural fit between the search bar and the video thingy, but that is just a personal preference. Evropi
Looks really beautiful, but... but... it ain't standards-compliant!HTML5.CSS3.
MishFTW
@ EvropiYes, I ran it through the validator multiple times But standards like HTML5 and CSS3 aren't released yet Most of the errors flagged by the HTML validator are caused by third-party plugins; all of the CSS errors are caused by the third-party plugins. The website theme is however very standards-compliant

luziferius
I like the new design, its really nice.a big usability plus(compared to other sites): those drop-down menu headers("News", "Game Info", etc) are not clickable( thats a good thing!).That makes the site usable on touch screen devices, since there you don’t have the (otherwise required) hover-, but only the click-(and-drag) action availablewell done! Pureon
a big usability plus(compared to other sites): those drop-down menu headers("News", "Game Info", etc) are not clickable( thats a good thing!).That makes the site usable on touch screen devices, since there you don’t have the (otherwise required) hover-, but only the click-(and-drag) action availablewell done!I very much agree. Perhaps the text of the header buttons shouldn't be selectable though?
