Jeru
Closeup details look awesome but ultimately it is pics taken from player's point-of-view that are most useful for PR, because they best reflect the experience the player will have playing 0 A.D. :\So keep up the great work, Ludo, just you may want to take into account my small comment. Thanks!

Thanks! What does mean "PR" ?Yes, you're right about the need to mostly show the normal player POV in screenshots. It's just irresistible to look the game differently And anyway, for now, any player can deactivate the camera limitation, right ?
Shield Bearer
PR means Public Relations I think I get what Aviv is saying. We don't want to advertise a FPS here, we must show its an RTS

MishFTW
Ludo, I think adding the 0 A.D. logo + the platform and open source logos (like in the download banners) would be a nice touch. This probably won't help, but here is my gallery of screenshots since I started playing 0 A.D. SergiuHellDragoon
OK, here we go !First, some Mauryan sights :Maybe those sights with the sky visible should not appear in the official website gallery, as they show the game not in its normal angle... What do you think ?How did you manipulate the camera this way?
leper
Ctrl+W, Ctrl+S and maybe ticking the camera restrictions box in the developer overlay (Alt+D). Also see the Hotkeys page in the manual
Ludo38
Ah, Leper's been faster to answer! yes, it's all about using the developer overlay in the settings, and then removing the camera restriction. To have the sky : Alt + Z.

Ludo38
Lion, on your screenshot at #36, I guess you raised saturation a bit, right ? It's nice, it's your style.

Kimball
This one seems to fit your bill. That's a wallpaper if I've ever seen one! Slap some logos on this thing and put it on the main site.
historic_bruno
Even though players won't typically see these "first person" perspectives, many of them look good enough that we should consider making trailers with that view or even using it for cutscenes in campaigns
Josh
Here's two I thought looked pretty good (although not nearly as good as some of the others here).EDIT: I also have the first one in a 100mb bitmap if anyone wants it. Enrique
They look very nice wraitii!Tropic palms looks awesome with the normal and specular effects, but we have to fix the trunk UVs.I think we should apply the same effects to the rest of the palms
Jeru
The screenshots are beautiful, but please, if you could focus more on producing screenshots from the player's usual POV. Thanks.
