  1. I could join the 0ad private forum when I was not logged in and see threads and such. I don't think that should be possible.

  3. There should be a "world overview" option. This way, you can see the whole world you're working with. This option should be in random maps as well, so you can take a general look of your city . Maybe just make it the largest zoomout?

  10. Anyone played Prince of Persia? I'm making a campaign a little similar to it. You're a viking warrior that wants to become king over Scandinavia. You defend cities, attack them etc .

  16. Will all the civs "spearmen type" of units have the name hoplites, or spearmen, or will they have a unique name? For the Persians and Parthians, I can provide the names that were used for different kinds of soldiers, if you want .
  17. Yeah, AoK small and fast ships rocked, even though it was unrealistic. Just a bit bigger and it will be perfect. It would also be nice if there were different "dominating" ships, not just one, like in AoK(massed galleys have no counter).
  18. Gameplay >> Realism That's why I think they shouldn't be too big, and pretty fast. Otherwise, sea battles will be boring and slow, and you will have difficulties managing all ships if they're too big, like Cossacks.
  19. Mythos_Ruler, I think you should stick with "immortals", because that's how they are known nowadays.
  20. That's a recently proved false theory. "Immortals" is simply a greek corrupt version .
  21. Actually, "immortals" was a corrupt version of "companions". In Persian: Amrtaka = Immortal, Amrtakga = companion Greeks corrupted it so it got "immortal" instead .
  22. Yeah it would be cool if for example an archer shoots a unit with no armor, there will be a 20% chance the unit dies, 40% unit gets wounded, 40% chance miss.
  23. One way to prevent lame rushes is to have a option to make villagers into milita. They won't gather resources as quickly but they will have a small +attack and hp. It should take like 30 seconds to change them. Or you could just be able to create milita in your "town center". Milita should only have that + attack and hp bonus in own borders, so that you won't do milita rushes. Another thing, maybe you should be able to research a technology named "patriotism", that makes soldiers stronger, while they are within own borders. And buildings built in enemy borders should work 20% slower, be built 20% slower and have 20% less hp.
