  1. I have 7.

3 for the cable (on three separate TVs)

2 remotes for two of those TVs (the original remote, which I still use to change to video)

    1 PS2 remote for DVDs

    1 Enterteinment Center remote

    1 VCR remote

I plan on getting a universal one to replace 3 of them for 1. Just gotta wait till I get money (and with Call of Duty out it'll be a while)

  2. Well, right now I'm editing/listening to Battle and Trailer music for Morrowind for one of my AoK scenarios but while it's an awesome song, I hate them because this is approx. my 250th time listening to it!!!!

But let's look in my playlist to see what I'm listening to when it's not playtesting AoK scenarios (this will be long, warning to the faint of heart):

Whew, that was a mistake... Anyway, as you can see I have a varied taste for music. To those who know classical music, I would greatly like ideas of what to check out.

The whole playlist takes about 4 hours to finish, so I have 7 diff versions with songs mixed up differently for each day of the week and this way I get a varied mix of them :)

  3. I win 1st place on Halo quite frequently (specially with capture the flag) though most kills I don't get too often.

I won the AoM beta (or alpha).

I won a $0 bet against my brother that I would know what I would think next before he would... But it was a close call.

PS: How do you play Halo against certain ppl? Just go looking at all games seeing if ppl you know are in the game?

  4. Ok, I think I covered the bigger ones (I hope). This is my first poll, and I plan to make one a week, or more if I find it appropriate. They'll mostly be concerned with the game/movie industry.

PS: If you chose other, please state which, and it be cool if you could state why you want it more than the others and if you want you can add your 2nd and 3rd choice (some ppl like the spotlight *guilty face*)

I chose Halo 2, because I have an immense love for the first game. Though I do find these choices hard ones.

My 2nd choice is Half-Life 2, because I was very surprised with the first one (I played it recently) and want to see what they can come up with for the 2nd one.

My 3rd choice is Doom 3, because first I want to try challenge my computer and second I want to see if it can stand up to competition (sure, in the day it had to compete with Wolfenstein but now it has some SERIOUS competition).

  5. As Black Op said, and if he really could not be turned to evil motives, I'm sure the Ring could easily slip from Gwahir's talons just as it was lost by Gollum. Not saying it moved or anything, but rather 'pushed' their minds to involuntarily drop/lose the Ring. Plus how would Gwahir carry the ring without putting it on !!!! j/k

  6. My ISP already gave me a Spam Filter that keeps all possible virus infestations and most spam e-mails before they even send it to my computer and then they send me a warning that there are e-mails I should check at their website to see if there's anything I want or if I want to delete it.

I have not found a single virus through e-mail, but it does stop some e-mails from friends so it's not perfect.

  7. Ok, my mom's friends send her gobs and gobs of FWD e-mails of jokes and stuff which I hate. So finally I just made a folder under Inbox and message rules for them to go in there.

Problem: My mom can't reach that folder from her Windows Account, and since I'm checking e-mails multiple times a day they all come to me. Is there a way to allow her to access that folder as well (not windows folder, a Outlook Express folder) from her account. I'm reluctant to give her my password so she can read them when I'm gone because once a password is told to someone, it's not longer a valid password in my book. She might not tell my brother, but maybe a friend of hers will be over and she'll want to check the e-mail and tell her the password without thinking I would care and soon enough my brother is messing with my files!

Anyway, I would gratly appreciate a way to allow her Access (it's an administrator account) to her inbox.

  8. The ring betrayed Isildur, to his doom.

    It actualy is:

And the Ring of Power has a will of its own.

    *fighting*

It betrayed Isildur... to his death.

    *Ring sinks*

And somethings that should not have been forgotten, we're lost.

History became legend, legend became myth.

And for two and a half thousand years the Ring passed out of all knowledge.

Until, when chance came, it ensnared a new wearer.

    *My Preciousss...*

The Ring came to the creature Gollum, who took it deep into the Misty Mountains.

    And there it consumed him.

    *It came to me...

    *My own...

    *My love...

    *My own...

    *My precious...

    *Gollum!*

The Ring brought to Gollum unnantural long life.

For five hundread years it consumed his mind.

And in the gloom of Gollum's cave, it waited.

(I better stop, LOL, but I'm sure many of the things are wrong, specially Gollum's part which I'm not really sure it was in the movie or the book!!! I won't be citing any elvish )

  9. LOL... but seriously: Is it bad to have many icons? I have *goes and counts* 30 icons on my desktop and my friend says it slows down my computer too much, is he right or is it ok?

Also, what are your guys' thoughts on overclocking? Good, risky..?

  10. I myself like CRTs, or like to believe I do so that I don't have to fork out the money for an LCD... but my friend has one and I notice nothing as in slower graphics, weird resolutions or anything. Though my friend did burst into fire after using it for too long (the latter was a joke).

LCD are much better, and like my friend, I doubt anyone can go back, and still be satisfied. So if you are willing to to pay, I'd say go for LCD (they do look a lot better and take up less room) but I myself prefer to spend the same money but instead of putting it towards new technology put it towards sizE!!!!
