I was just kidding there if you haven't noticed (although that my be a good topic for a game, too). Creating a world simulation would be my dream as well. Ever since I have finished my Duke-AI I have dreamed of creating the code for an AI (in c++ or so), that would act like a human player. It is just fascinating...I wouldn't compile or debug this code, just something t be proud of. And you never know, maybe some game developer comes along who creates a world simulation and thus is willing to get a licence of the AI..

In my opinion it depends on the personality of course. However there are different types of violence...some influence people more than others. I don't know if anyone of you watched the movie "American History X", but there was that scene where the protagonist killed 2 black people who were about to steal his car. He shot one and did something with the second one that you'd talk about with your friends in school (no mention here what he did. Look at the Community Guidelines). I mean if the violence in media makes people talk about it, then it's of that type that really influences them. When you talk about it, you think about it and reflex to it. Thus it has potential to make you go out "trying" what you just saw.

Sounds good to me, but I think our community needs to be a bit bigger to make such a contest successful.

I would make a game that is settled 10, 000 years ago. Weapons are not swords etc. Nope, it depends on how thick your stick is, what the 3d model of your stone in your right hand is like etc.

Discussion: "Normal" Websites or Forum-Integrated ones ? You know the WebDevelopment Team is building new websites for WFG, 0ad, TLA and Insurrection. The question now is, if you want forum and website to be separated or rather have them be just one united object? What would that look like ? This would look like the following: A navigation will be added to the left of every forum where there are links to threads (such as Screenshot gallery, Wildfire Games background). Those threads would be in forums where you can't reply, so achieve the rather static content model of "normal" websites. The rest would be pretty much done through forums: In some of those static threads you can reply/give a rating/flame the author (j/k) etc., but in most them you can't. In that right navbar we would also find an overall poll, Links to Partner Sites and links to Featured Articles. Suggestions on that are always welcome. Argumentation These: Going with forum-integrated websites is much better than to go with "normal" websites. Pro-Arguments: -Centralised Community -Centralised Information Resources/Discussions -Saving a lot of clicks -Development Time rather short compared to "normal" websites -Stay closer to the developers (they only have one point to visit as well) Contra-Arguments -not as flexible as "normal" websites -no drastic separation of static information and discussion (this can also be an advantage, depends on your point of view) Those are the ones that I can think off right now. Yeah, when it comes down to art, then I will join the frai. Have been drawing graffiti for more than 7 years and also always need to make graphics for customers (webdesign), so I am pretty much an art fanatic, too.

I'd vote for chips, but it isn't there yet...

But integrating the website with the forums will save you some clicks and will center any issues regarding WFG.. I think I will have to come up with a pro/con argumentation for this one.
