You cannot prevent all bugs. They always occur. You can only try to reduce the number of bugs introduced.

I looked more closely on the spartan and athen buildings:
It seems like some athen buildings use doric columns (hellenic royal stoa, athenian wonder, poritco and gymnasion), while they should use iconic columns.
All current spartan buildings seem to use doric columns. Only the current market uses the iconic columns.

I don't think auto-scouting is needed. Just shift click about 8 times at the minimap and your unit is scouting the whole map.

In general observer mode you could compare them all at once instead of having to swap to a player view. Just a minor thing really, but something that jumped out at me the last time I watched replay videos.

Wouldn't this make cav rush useless?
As soon as the enemy sends cav, I just raise alarm and wait until the cav is gone again.

It works l ike this in the game:
Every client sends his commands to the server, then the server broadcasts all commands to the clients. They all execute those commands on their local simulation.
Now and then everyone compares a hash of the simstate with the hash of everyone else's hash. If they don't match, you get an Out of Sync error.
So to hack the thing: find some command that does things to everyones simulation, that are not intended.

As long as it works and doesn't interfere with other things, I see no benefit in removing it anyway.
