  6. I have merged the pull requests, thanks! Can you help us switch most of the files to a four-letter prefix through another pull request? Starting tomorrow, I will be quite busy since it will be the start of the semester. I tried to finish everything in my workload here in the forums before the semester resumed.   11. I am not really that familiar with the templates in the game. It was inspired from a technology from Divide et Impera, Promise of Loot which decreases the recruitment cost for the Illyrians in their mod
  12. Hasmonean, I was thinking of the Maccabean Revolt. It could expand to the Herodian dynasty, I think.
  13. General faction implementaion was committed. Thanks to @Nescio and @Lefty for spearheading the development of the actor and simulation files.
  14. Off topic. I am planning to create a Judean faction mod.
  15. Opted for an ethnic approach in appearance for the Semitic units similar to DE. Hellenic tunic became heavily used in most of Successor factions as it was introduced in the game. Again, I opted for padded cloth to solidify the design with the native pikemen. The Jewish population, I believe was familiar with it as both the Achaemenids and the Egyptians used them. Also, to match the design with the Greek slinger units which use quilted armor at elite rank.

  20. Going for native style visuals for the Judean Slinger. To be committed if there are no more objections.
  21. @Alexandermb Are planning to make a turban mesh for the Arabic units or should we continue to use the coif mesh and texture for the Ummayads from Millennium AD mod?
  22. I comprehend that this is a leather vest topped with a disc pectoral armor and at the bottom of it are pteruges right? Or a thick woven body armor to complement the plated helmet that was made from wicker?

  24. Thracian texture sets are now in the SVN version. I will work on some things before committing the functional faction to the repository. Yesterday, I tested this and played as the Thracians versus the Illyrians on the new farmlands map. It was so immersive, I enjoyed it.
