  1. Personally I'd rather see a WW1 mod, besides the time-frame you are discussing (Colonial) has already been discussed.
  2. What language would be most useful to a modder. Note I have given up on joining either 0AD or TLA.
  3. Personally I think this could hve one of two lasting effects for the World Economy. Either it will speed up Globalization due to everyone not wanting to spend too much in one place in case that place screws itself up bad. Or it will stop Globalization due to everyone being scared.
  4. One or the Other. I u haz t3h l337 skillz u could outnumber 4nd 0v3rwh31m Alternatively If you knew how to (actual skill) you'd be able to out-manuever and destroy. Of course using both =
  5. Taken Over = Assimilated (.ie Carthage after the Punic Wars) Conquered = Temporary Military Bases/Occupied (.ie Poland in WW2)
  6. Well the Phalanx (the Hoplitai one) was weak to Cavalry in real life (I'm pretty sure, it's why Cavalry and Archers became more prevalent after the Greece vs. Persia thing) and every other game says they would exterminate Cav... Dalek style.
  7. Not sure if this has been raised already (TL:DR) but if the US government gives 840B USD to the people responsible won't they just hold on to the cash and say screw you to the government... I'm happy that I'm on this side of the Pacific (the Aussies are only paying 4B AUD to SMALLER loan businesses).
  8. I think he means for any decent amount of time (ie. 20+ years).
  9. Formation or Tactic.. The Romans used a Formation known as the testudo. A common tactic in RTS games is to Turtle as in no attacks, minimal territory claiming until a sufficient force is built.
  10. I said Turkic, a people who arrived from the steppes and formed serveral cultures in and around the ?Black? sea (Georgia), THey later formed the Seljuk Turks.
  11. Ummm, Sassanids... I don't think so. The Turkic tribes did arrive on scene, but the Sassanids...
  12. 1) Do you know what you are talking about? 2) What the heck is you talkin' 'bout man... Go through the following: 1) Research what our doing, 2) check the forum activity, 3) monitor the game's activity... Apart from this, keep going man
  13. Simply put: new people can't easily join and sync with the current coders because you have to know the basics, functions and other important things which DO NOT change but are RELIED UPON.
  14. Where you train in multiples instead of one. ie: AoE3 Version (You can choose between one and five at a time) RoN Version (You get differing numbers depending on what you are training)
  15. They settled down, and fought for the romans as Foederati, I think it should stay that way.
  16. I keep thinking about a game where you start off as a tribe, and evolve to being a Fully-Blown civilization through use of a tech tree which restricts use. eg/ researching Domed Roofs disables researching Squared Off roofs, with advantages and disadvantages to both.
  17. In the last age replace Mac. Gun nets with concrete parapet and you are on a winner, Also, you need to have bombardment and gas attacks.
  18. Not only would this be one of the worst games ever made, it would be nigh-impossible to make it realistic.
  19. Maybe so but it's been done past the point of death already.
