I really like this idea. You can put some houses, barracks, a "techonlogy building" (a temple, for example), perhaps a dock if they are near the sea, and the slot for the "control building" (an outpost or smthng). Some suggested mini-civs: --Transalpine-- -Retians -Teutons -Helvetians -Belgans -Lepontians --Italian-- -Etruscans -Umbrians (?) -Ligurians -Samnites --Carpatobalcanics-- -Tracians -Ilyrians -Dalmatians -Dacians -Epyrians --Africa-- -Numidians -Lybians -Nubians -Bedouins -Berber -Tuareg --Mediterraneans-- -Sardinians --Anatolians-- --Middle eastern-- --Persia-- --Indogangetic valley-- I´ll add the other mini civs later.

Mayans painted their buildings in many beautiful colors (inside and outside), many people think that their buildings were all rocky and the interior of their houses looked like a cave but it is not true, the buildings were covered by cement, they invented it, and painted in many colors. Mayans did build walls, but in a different way and fashion from the standard medieval and iron age walls. They were small and multileveled. I am from Mexico, Lion from Central America and the french guy from France, I think we will have some problems logging in at the same time. What do we do to overcome the timing problem and where can we chat? Its not done yet, its called "Age of Feuds" is a browser based mmog in spanish. Is not online yet, i'm running it only in wampp. When i finish the military system i will upload it.

I didn't like the admin interface. 1) The customization wasn't good, the general presentation of the forum was confusing and with little opportunuty to change it. 2) Group management was poor. 3) Customization of the skin was poor too, i made my own skin with CSS but i couldn't put it to work correctly.

I didn't mean sudden death, i ment investigating the blue row until you get world government. If you hanen't won by then, you use it and you defeat them in one strike. Its not my only or favorite strategy, but it is the more effective When i think i may loose, i just investigate the blue one and surprise butt sex them. -
Lets not dimminish both aspects of the game: Fun History If a civ does not meet BOTH of the aspects, it can't be included. Mayans do not pass the history aspect.

I have used phpBB before, but i quite didn´t like it. I liked the BB3 (burning board 3) software but it was too expensive, and since this one is not free neither, i think i'll have to just go with the phpBB. I'm not using word press. Oh, wait, i'll check out the vanilla forums. Thanks for the info.

I like RON too. The only two things i don't like: Historical inacurancy (Praetorians in middle age, inexact age names, mayans having horses, etc). The sounds are not cool (sword clash sounds, fire arms, etc). -
Where did you get it from? did you buy it or made it? What kind of forum is this? I supose the admin interface has many cool features, which features does it have? I even like the skin. I am making a small browser based mmog (PHP-Mysql + javascript-Ajax-Jquery) and i'd like to have a forum like this one for my little game. I like all the features, for example , you click the page numbers and you can select which page you want to navigate or you put the mouse over a dood, and you can see a preview of his profile:3 If you are curious the name of my game is "Age of Feuds" ^.^ It has many cool features like a family tree you have to keep and every family member can go to battle adding bonuses to the army or stay in a fief adding bonuses to it according to their personality traits (like M2:TW) and you can marry your daughters with other players family members. The rest is like your average bbmmog with units and buildings and resources. Is persistent. Currently is not complete yet. Haven´t implemented the personality traits to the family members and haven´t implemented the military at all, just finished commerce and economy and the stats view. Its not oline yet, i have the domain but i have it running on wampp so not even pre-alfaa will upload it to my domain and start betatesting wiz my friends when the military stuff is finished. Unfortunately the game is in spanish so you cant play it

I see, you can add defense penalty too. Speed, attack speed and defense penalty (they recieve more damage making them easy to kill). -
Yes, but there are plenty of civs in the game that the iberians fought with (romans, celts, cartaginians, greeks). The same with persinas: Romans, mauryans, greeks, macedonians, espartans, etc. While the mayans would be COMPLETELY isolated. If you put mayans, and olmecs, and zapotec, and caribe, then it would be great, you could fight mayans vs olmecs like you can fight iberians vs romans. But how the game is now, you never would be able to play historically with the mayans. The point of the game is the possibility of doing historical and unhistorical (both) matches for every civ. The mayans would only have the unhistorical part, lacking the other half of the point of the game. So no mayans unless you are going to put other mayan neighbours in the game. Besides mayans didn't have cavarly, or siege weapons, that would be extremely unbalanced.

This is my opinion: I dont like that attrition reduces your units HP, thats unrealistic and doesn't fit the game. I propose this: When you are in your territory: your stamina will increase, your units will be at 100% strength When you are in no mans land: your stamina will not increase, your units will have 100% strength, siege units fire speed -25% When you are in enemy territory: Your stamina will decay, your units will have reduced fight speed (less attacks per second) and reduced speed (less distance per second), siege units fire speed -50%. To avoid this use charts, they will have a range and nullify the attrition penalty. Not dinimishing the HP but the fighting efficiency.
