That is why we talked about technologies that would break an even situation, and that would give an imbalance in the balance of power. I can only remember Castle technologies in AoE II or OP technologies ideas in AoE Online for premium users.

we should have 3 levels of stone wall, same as original AoE. A small one, like the palisade but made of stone (therefore the palisade must have a variant where troops are placed on it, similar to the Roman one). The second is the current one. And the third is like Stronghold Crusader II ( That by the way that AoE IV copy it quite well). I like the idea of copying other franchises with less clone mechanics of AoE (Except for convenience and variety). -

this is a problem. Note this with cavalry units. That they are the values of before but with technologies you can invest in turtling. As well as others invest in attack. (Rush) How feasible is it to break turtling with economic booming?

Indeed it must be the other way around, that in real life rarely happened. At least under normal conditions, the cavalry served to end these pests.

I also have a nomad shipwreck map planned similar to what it happened to Christopher Columbus in 1492 and the Santa Maria shipwreck. You shipwreck on a huge island and create a fort camp out of the remains. The island is full of natives with Stone age technology. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Navidad I like the idea of creating a palisade fort with the wood of the wreckage of a ship.

I'd give them a good attack and a poor hp, Good archer defense (pierce) but fatal crush and hack armor. -
