  1. Auroras reflected in the water would be awesome.
  2. Pure Black is player 8 right now. I think we should stick with the current player color palette (8 colors), but allow players to choose from those. What do you think? So, no to choosing hot fuscia from a color dropper, but you can pick one of the 8-10 colors we have available.
  3. Hmmm, we could make some "blowing snow" particles too, similar to the blowing sand particles for desert maps. And I agree, distance fog would do this map very well.
  4. One 512x512 rock texture for each biome should do the trick. Also, look in the folder to make sure there aren't already high def rock textures. I'm pretty sure there are some.
  5. It seems to be listing almost every single texture as "unused."
  6. Some of this is wrong, specifically the "unused textures" list.
  7. What version of the game are you using? There are no rogue wall segment in my local copy.
  8. The Roman Forum was multiple buildings anyway. Better to make the Temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus and a couple of basilicas and some other eye candy (free standing columns, etc.), so designers can make their own Forum.

  11. A good start. Perhaps some kind of wall/railing or something along the back and sides of the superstructure and then a wooden gate in the front of it. Then the rest of the fence should be a little more irregular.
  12. Look at the New England map in AOE3 and just copy that.
  13. The temple is based off of a real place, a sanctuary. Not going to change it.
  14. I like the idea of the Market owner gaining the resources. Very nice idea. Adds another dimension to alliances/diplomacy. And yep, the game needs trading techs if the default resource rate is going to remain so low.
  15. I figured in the late game trading should be better than gathering, so you can use your gatherers to fight instead of gathering.
  16. Looks good. One thing that needs fixed is the uv mapping and geometry here (red area): And maybe use the darker Stone Wall/Defense tower texture in the blue area. I have to say, the updates to the fortress look a lot better than your take on the market.

  18. Yeah, I can fix those. Problem is, the in-game list will not properly identify the roman numerals as, well, numerals. Best to just use Arabic numbers for now. Agreed.
