I really like this place And the moderators do their job really well so it's pleasant to post in here Even the small warning that I got for posting too many smilies is a good way of insuring that everyone is respectful toward each other.

I know most ppl who register don't really post in the forums...so then there is no real expansion of the community. But I also notice here, you guys are really active and if I forget to check the forums for 2 days, it does take a long time to read all the things that have been said. So it's a balance that must be instored (sp?). Maybe put a limit to the number of threads you can create by days ? I don't know. But all those threads are really interesting anyway

when a community gets too big, as you guys said, it becomes difficult to watch everyone. ppl get inactive or don't know what to answer and who to answer, and there's a lot of posts to check each time you go to the forum so you spend a lot of time just viewing them...and it can become too much

I created my username 4 yrs ago, I had a friend who was writing stories and I decided to write stories as well. 4 yrs ago I was inspired by the Forgotten realms books and decided to create a half-elf. That's when I invented the name akya it seemed proper for an elvish name and at the same time it felt a bit japanese.

But it sure helps to have Quality/Helpfulness of Forum Posts/Topics People actually post something and not only 3 words. That which is called spam ! The size of the community -> the more members the better. - depends if they're active and you really can have a nice environment even if they're few members. The number of forum posts/topics. - doesn't have to do with anything. If the topics and posts are on nothing interesting, it doesn't help at all Same people come back often -> build up serious friendships. - Goes with number 2 The sex appeal of the Community Administrators . - what do you guys look like ? on the net I can't tell If you can talk about any and everything with the other members - always good [edit] I didn't put them in any order, just posted a comment on each of them
