  1. Would you like me to do some russian unit with poser? And my proposal is if you would be interested in making some buildings for the extended version of RAW / 0 AD, basically some roman, celtic and carthaginian stuff
  2. Happy new year for you, unhappy new year for me
  3. I dont think there would be trouble with it, actually I remember there was a mod with a lot of beta stuff, by Revned I think, and there wasnt any trouble. Also AOK is an old game, the vips and important people dont look at it anymore as it would 3 years ago. Aga, btw, I would like to propose you something, if you are still interested in AOK stuff do you?
  4. Hi Aga About Bugman, he is studying right now in Sweden, he comes back by the end of this month or next.. I think
  5. Oh btw , yes I am of the oldest living things here I know wildfire since the beginning, when Earth was flat and... oook (Sorry for the double post)
  6. *Bombards WC with huge child throwing trebuchet* Mom, that is a kid flying?
  7. I drink very ocasionally and very little each time I do it (I never got even half drunk) and I only drink beer or cider.
  8. I mean, I missed some scenes like the end of Saruman, mouth of Sauron, Gandalf vs Witchking, Denethor and the palantir, the Houses of Healing, easterlings (in the battle aftermath there are easterling halberds sticked in the ground and we didnt see any?!?) and haradrim other than mumakils, extended siege (there is a scene seen in the trailer with a normal battering ram charging the gate), in comparison Helm's Deep was much much longer, I expected more. And one thing I disliked very much: the army of the dead, I think they should made it like in the books, Pellenor battle would be much better with normal people arriving with Aragorn, in the books it was much of a classic battle of hack and slash and didnt end so quickly with the arrival of such powerful force but it lasted a lot more after Aragorn arrived, it was way more realistic than a bunch of green ghosts taken from Ghostbusters cruising around.
  9. I just saw ROTK and... it was awesome, very good movie, though I had a feel of rush at some parts of it, and I missed some important scenes.

I need your help. What would you do for the teutonic knight ? : Option 1: Celt chief. Original idea, but I am having problems with the figure as I dont have all proper items. Also I dont like very much that a celt chief can kick the butt of almost every unit, and it is also very slow. Option 2: Roman general. Guy with golden muscled armor, golden roman helm with crest, red cloak, shin guards... you know. Option 3: Spartan hoplite. Guy with greek helm with transverse crest, red cloak, greek armor, spartan hoplon with 'lambda', spear... Option 4: Suggestion?

New goodies for today LEGIONARY Replacement of: Two-handed swordsman. Weapon: Short sword (gladius). Armor: Bronze Gallic helmet, oval-rectangualr shield (scutum), chainmail armor (Lorica hamata) Wearing: Sandals (caligae), tunic with short sleeves. History: Based on the Roman legionary in the transition between Republic and Empire, during the reforms of Marius, mainly a Caesarian legionary. But also similar to a Republican princeps. Of course, no pilum, just sword. Aprox time period: 250 BC to 90 AD. And 2 ingame screens (courtesy of Jason's RAW mod ) : THE MIGHT OF ROME (Jesus, I always wanted to ever see this one!!!!) http://usuarios.lycos.es/middleearth/MOD0AD/AOK002.JPG CAESAR'S LEGIONS ABOUT TO FACE THE GAULS http://usuarios.lycos.es/middleearth/MOD0AD/AOK001.JPG

Well this thing is just a mod for Age of Kings. The real 0ad game started like this mod (in concept) but it developed into a full game, so I am just bringing back the old mod to life, this is the "0ad" AoK mod and it's different from the independent 0ad game And I will try to get something done for Christmas

Indeed Jason's legionary is 1000 times better than that one I rendered because I messed things like the armor in the shoulders, the shield and the balteus (the straps over the skirt), and also the textures, mine are pretty basic

I could send you the pz3 if you want Btw, hmm I think a soldier walking to battle with only his shield would look strange.. And the sword being too long, that's a darn thing I thought too, I used the gladius that came with the DAZ legionary, which is odd.. For one of these days I will try to finish the big cake: the Carthaginian war elephant

  20. I like epic/war/adventure/action/drama movies like Braveheart, Gladiator, LOTR, Saving Private Ryan... I dislike very much action-only films, drama-only films and so on. I like mixes, big mixes
