  2. As far as I understand, you need to put your image into art/textures/ui/session/icons/mappreview/ and refer to it in the "Preview" setting in the map XML file. See e.g. how it is done in this commit.

Useful links: How to Import/export assets and bake AO maps in Blender3D Blender 3D UV unwrapping tips How to export animations from Blender3D to 0AD Tips & requirements of the engine: - Approx triangle count for buildings: small 2k-5k, mid 4k-6k, big 6k-8k, wonders 8k-12k. - The engine uses .DAE (Collada) format for models and animations. - The engine does not render double-faced polys, so if you want a polygon with both faces rendered, you need to duplicate it and flip the normals. - The engine does not tile the textures like blender does, so when UV mapping, keep the UV islands within the texture space. - We use two UV coordinates, one with overlapping UVs for diffuse, normal/parallax and specularity and another non-overlapping for AO maps. - Building models need to extend below the ground (-Z axis) because it can be visible when the building is constructed in uneven terrain. - To get the correct scale it is very useful to import a building from the game into blender as a reference.   5. After you put the preview image in the public.zip folder into correct place, you can write the image name in the Scenario Editor. So you've written it in the map XML file (ger=So hast du es in die map XML Datei geschrieben). It should look like this:

  6. It's more than enough. I've been thinking if these animations with the same armature could be reused for a new dog mesh/meshes for britons... we'll see. I hadn't much free time lately, but I'll take care of creating the skeleton.xml for the wolf and commit your animations. Good work once again Feel free to jump into other animal's animations if you're in the mood. Like the Zebu for the Ox cart for example *wink* *wink* Although I think IK setups for legs and tail would make the animating process much easier for your end. I can help you to set them if you need it (it's quite easy actually and saves lots of time)

  7. Salute. QUOTE Just pointing it out in case you didn't know and you think it may be useful for your workflow. Oh. It looks like I misunderstood your previous post a bit. My apologies. I didn't expect that everything will be accepted. The main problem with sleeping animation is laying pose. When I try to make it look like actual wolf it leads to bad mesh deformations. An obstacle I don't know how to overcome. I think that idle01 is the weakest of them all but still can't make anything better. Do you need me to create additional variations or this is enough for the wolf set?

  9. No problem, Just pointing it out in case you didn't know and you think it may be useful for your workflow. I'll append all of the animations into one blender file to upload it to the public art repo, so it's more organized in one file, but if you're more comfortable working in different blend files is OK too. All of them look great and game-ready. If you're not happy with idle01, feel free to change it and upload the finished file, I'll get it in-game.

  10. Part 2 covers 1-500 AD Tang dynasty didn't start until 618 AD so its pretty much out of the question. Personally I think the Three Kingdoms wouldn't be different enough to justify 3 separate factions. And if ROTE is still happening, I think the best dynasties to include would be the Jin (265-420) and Northern Wei(386-535 and not to be confused with Cao Cao's Wei). So basically, the Jin can be like how you'd expect a typical Chinese faction with massed infantry and lots and lots of crossbow men, whist the Northern Wei would have steppe nomad influences with cavalry archers and cataphracts. On a further note, imagine how epic would it be having a wonder a bit like this: That's the Longmen Grottoes, built during the Northern Wei. Just a lil suggestion of mine, coz it would be a huge shame not to include China as a faction in the official game in some form...
