  1. Isn't this a medieval building? squinch construction didnt develop until the byzantine empire
  2. Whenever the texture seams I have to fix it manually :/ and my mouse is broken. excellent that might slow me down, slamming the left click every time I need it is hurting my finger ahaha
  3. Someone would have to pull that from the landscape because sketchup doesnt handle organic modelling well, I can set up the fenced off areas though
  4. hmm, I dont know how we're going to get those round huts in there to fit in with the upper class houses, I figure pairing them up might work, since they all seem pretty small
  5. got a goofy little broken texture on that second barracks but that probably wont show outside of the renderer thanks man, that could help me out a lot
  6. I've imported Sketchup .dae files into Blender it exports fine for the most part, but sometimes it's all jumbled up. A little shake in the program will reset the positions into the right spots
  7. Would we want some continuity between the other civilizations? The fortress' courtyards seems a little tight for building any kind of siege machinery, especially the Helepolis
  8. You mean have the high point in the center? I feel like that would be too reminiscent of the Greek barracks would you rather I do that?
  9. alrighty then Alright, I think i managed to find a happy medium between all of them, took a little of this and added it to a little of that and here's what I came up withI call it abstract. so which configuration are we using?
  10. Oooh that sounds like a fun little hiatus from indian architecture
  11. some tweaking, have the lower quality toran and a staggered roof on the crenelated one, tried to make the balcony barracks a little more interesting and took out the second railing, and put the extension back but rescaled it closer to the main building on the ramp one
  12. lol the buddhist stupa was a solid structure, and participants walked around it I beleive. I think it housed a relic of some sort too, at the very top. it was a place of reflection, not worship
  13. Given its a huge mound of brick and masonry, I dont think it should be destroyable, or at least have a ludicrous amount of health if it is implemented into the game
  14. We do have the more relevant great stupas to work off of, how about we start there? this style is kind of different from the Mauryan architecture I've been working on
  15. thank ya I use those railings on most of my buildings save one or two, given that they are incredibly high poly. I try to keep them to a minimum while representing them all the same. I could probably spruce up the first one a bit
  16. jawohl mein herr how bout the one on the left? I'm still not much of a fan of the regular plan though
