Some more nerdy talk / discovery: Keeping you batch size consistent is more efficient than fluctuating it; e.g. 3-3-3-3 is better than 2-4-2-4 Bigger batch sizes also gives you more economy in the long run. However in the stort term small batch sizes / no batch is better. What would be interesting is a formula that tells you what batch size you should use if you want to have the most resources after x minutes, e.g. to determine what batch size is optimal to do a 6-minute attack.

Did you have vsync on? Cause with my 2021 m1 i have like 200fps with vulkan at the beginning of the match.

0 A.D. also has auto-train feature. It's marked by an infinity sign in the status panel when you select a production building. Clicking on that after you set your queue will automatically produce the queued units, as long as you have enough resources. It can help you in the mid game if you struggle with keeping up with macro.

@DesertRose you are right, the tutorial needs to be improved. We need to make the tutorial informative enough while not carrying too much information so that the new players can be onboarded without getting stressed out. The best way to achieve this is by making 3 consecutive chapters that allow them to take a break in between. The only comment I have is the batch size. There are many mathematical studies in this topic somewhere on the forum and I remember reaching a conclusion of 2 by 2 on auto train being the best.

Athena Nike would be narrower and the columns would be skinnier. It would also have nicer sculptures at the top. I think the structure would be overall about 80-90% the size of the buildable temple and would have the white rooftiles of the Parthenon instead of the brown tiles of the standard temple. It would also have the bronze gates inside of the columns in front of the door.
