    • Each biome have different resource availability/scarceness. It definitively have an impact on game-play. It also has an impact of civilizations balance.
    • Sounds good, but the differnt biomes do not have ANY impact on gameplay. As far as I have seen, biomes , while visually attractive, do not impair or prefer a capability. You can build a farm in snow as well as in a desert as well aws in a swampy area; there is always a type of trees growing, elephants survive even in the arctic - all well justified in the interest of balanced gameplay. Just the biome itself does not seem to  contribute at all. A "4-seasons biome" would impact strategy only if you could not grow a farm in a desert or in snow (you would probably have to revert to animal breeding instead), or your elphants or camels have alimited lifetime in the cold, or the like. So if you would change from one biome to another you'd need to consider this effect.

No more climax 4-12 fps lags or camera/gui unresponsiveness . Sharing the patch for those who'd like to try it. And get reasonable fps again... To apply on linux, (if you built the game) put the patch in your game folder lagpatch.patch Apply the patch: patch -p1 < lagpatch.patch Recompile: cd build/workspaces/gcc make -j3
    • Text about the wolf warriors.   Seems like it could be possible that some ferocious German warriors in ancient times would dress themselves in wolf skins. Especially as a way to "summon" the strength of mythological or religious wolf totem. I don't think that the wolf skin would be very effective as a suit of armor, though. Maybe add them as very brutal, very aggressive melee glass cannon shock troops?
    • If you want to try a version as a mod for a27, you could unzip this and move it to your mods folder. Its not quite as updated as the 'pull request' @Stan` shared, but it is enough to get a good feel for how the civ works.
