DarkAngelBGE
Yeah we are planning to give our crier an own website where every new issue will be shown and archived. Here is the first version of the website's design. Please shoot off your thoughts. http://wildfiregames.com/~tim/crier/
Dnas
The link to the CGs has an extra / at the end of the URL.Other than that, looks good. A bit plain though...Maybe add some of the gradients from the forum? I don't know.
DarkAngelBGE
Updated: Version 1.0.
goldenratiophi
Nice I like it better than posting the Crier in the forum.
Dnas
Yay! It doesn't look plain anymore! It looks clean. The border on right side seems messed up though. The menu makes the border get offsetted.
DarkAngelBGE
Could you give me a screenshot, David with your browser and resolution info?
Dnas
Browser: FirefoxResolution: 1280x1024 - window was set to full screen. It's odd though... if I resize the window, the lines move around and some sizes it works great, while others it doesn't.(Yeah, I hate gifs, too, but the way Irfanview saves pngs is too complicated for Windows to understand and I don't want to fire up the GIMP to take a screenshot.) Fire Giant
Hmm, there are some white lines around the WFG logo on top - looks like it doesn't blend properly with the background.Besides from that, I do not see anything offensive to my eye - pretty good work, Tim I like the idea
DarkAngelBGE
Refresh now.
Dnas
They stop moving around when I resize the screen now, but they are still off a few pixels (screenshot stays the same)
DarkAngelBGE
Working on it.
Argalius
I think you can do better than that...
Lorian
What is wrong with that?
Argalius
It looks kinda crappy and it's a 2 min PS job... Come on, you'll have to agree that it can be more original...
Dnas
I think it looks cool.Anyway...The border seemss to be fixed more-or-less now...They never disappear, but still shuffle around a bit when I resize the window. Sometimes parts are 1px, sometimes parts are 2px. And at a few sizes, some segments are back down to 0px.
Wijitmaker
It looks kinda crappy and it's a 2 min PS job... Come on, you'll have to agree that it can be more original...If you don't like it, feel free to make a new one. We'll replace it and stick your name in the news
Red_08
I like everything as it is now except for RAW not being there.

I will do it in the weekend (have 2 presentation + a test this week and both on the same day ) But I don't think the name will be needed, though... Titus Ultor
Argalius doesn't practice Argalianism for his own reputation: he practices it for the sake of correcting things.
DarkAngelBGE
Well, we are excited about his upcoming work anyway.
Argalius
As I had promised I made a change to the website. I got a little carried away, though. So I changed more than just the thingy . This is just a matter of personal taste, though, and I'm not really happy with both of them, since it's still missing something, but the overall idea is there. But it's pretty hard to find a sort of picture that fits to WFG. Anyway, here they are, they are both around the 500 kb, because I saved them at the highest quality to get a good look on full-screen.Link 1Link 2EDIT: My picture host resized them, so I uploaded them somewhere else now. Wijitmaker
I like your second idea, very nice. Breaks up the visual of the website, and it also shares with people a taste of the games we make We could regularily randomize the concept images above like what we do on the 0 A.D. site. Lorian
I think I prefer the first...

I think I prefer the first...←The first looks good to me too, has a really busness kind of look. It isn't perfect, though. There should be something on the left side, don't know what though.
