Purgator_
Regarding to this: [R26285] Is the idea of ability to transfer ownership of given building/unit bad? In above situation, I would like to build a house and barracks, and then switch ownership to my teammate who cannot construct anymore (due to lack of workers). Or in bigger battles, I would like to share my troops with selected teammate, so he can "make use" of them temporary or permanently. What do you think? 1
Lion.Kanzen
I think that is something desirable in the game. It would fit nicely under the "advanced diplomacy options".

While I'm not against the possibility to donate units or buildings to a team mate, I just wanted to point out that it is possible to build for team mates: they just have to put down a foundation; since you can also give them the required materials it's not too far from donating them a building. 19 minutes ago, Lion.Kanzen said: It would fit nicely under the "advanced diplomacy options". Maybe more a context menu thing? 'Donate selected units/ structures to...'. Not sure how one would select stuff to donate from diplomacy options. I remember that Empire Earth 2 you could do it. I'm going to record it one day, before I used to record options from other games.
Purgator_
I suppose the UI element regarding unit task (patrol, halt, repair and so on) could be reworked and that "Transfer Ownership" button added. But it's just my opinion
LetswaveaBook
For casual play it would be cool to be able to donate units. For competitive play it would be bad. It means that you don't need to help your ally and if their units get annihilated you just gift them 60 units so they can get their pop back up. There are also other reasons, not all factions have certain class of units. For example Calvary sword or elephants.
