Black Op
What do you all have planned for Memorial Day weekend? Will you go someplace? Will you go to cookouts? Will you just sit at you computer? My little cousins from Las Vegas are visiting our house. On Memorial Day, my parents and I are driving over to my Grandmother's house (only a few miles away ) for a BQ. chichigrande
I think I'm going to see a movie or go to the Stepdads house for a BBQ.
Curufinwe
(There is going to be a HUGE celebration in France, because it is the 60th anniversary of D-Day ... even Dubya will be in France, where the American soldiers landed. Note that although we are very grateful of the Americans to have helped us free France, we should also thank our fellow British since more British soldiers died during D-Day than American soldiers. But that is often forgotten, in favour of American troops. Just wanted to honour our Neighbours-Over-The-Channel.

Just D-Day and the end of WW2 on May 8th ... Why is Memorial Day celebrated on May 31st?
