Hello dear devs and players,

My story: this week i wanted to write a small review about the game 0a.d, now personally i love the game but the ai becomes predictable after a certain while. So i tried playing online. At first everything was fine with my username but 5 minutes into the lobby i got banned. Now I know i shouldn't have picked my standard username (uranusdigger69) but it would be nice to have a second chance, like getting a warning so you can change your username to something more.... acceptable.

So now im in a situation where i cant finish my review since i cant make a new account or get unbanned by changing my name.

So here i am, just some guy that made a small mistake, asking for your help to at least make a new account. This time i call it mr.Frodo or something.

The ban was done on grounds of:

  8. Allow yourself to be removed from the service if at any time a moderator determines your behavior is not consistent with these rules.

You are right that the banreason "improper nick" should include the notification that one may create a new account with a different nick, rather than assuming it is implied, in particular due to:

1. Only create one account per unique user on the service unless authorized by a Wildfire Games (WFG) team member.

So consider this your allowance for different nick that moderators deem consistent with the Terms of Use.
