nerfir
The new capturing system does not become better than the old system of destroying objectives because if we put 5 women in the CV, defeat 40 units of body leaving almost impossible to take and defeat the enemy.

You know about the hotkey to destroy building instead capturing? Edited July 5, 2018 by Lion.Kanzen

elexis
The point is that players should use siege engines to destroy buildings and walls, not infantry. Capturing becomes easier the more the building is destroyed.

Or is it strictly component/script-based? Edited July 6, 2018 by wowgetoffyourcellphone
Guest
I'm not sure, but looks like its in the Attack component. More specifically, this multiplier in line 601. However, it wont be that hard to make it part of templates. That of course depends on what is needed. Edited July 6, 2018 by Guest

I've just never noticed the effect.
elexis
Yes, that line is correct. Capture rate is proportional to building health except that it doesn't get any easier with the last 10% (because ownership changed too quickly then). LordGood
you could always beat it down to auto-eject and then capture it easily, that was always how i assumed that worked
