superflytom
Hi all, I know I'm probably being really dense, but how do I view the files of their games that people add to their posts in the forum? If they're not a zip file I can't work out what I need to do - specifically the command.txt files that lots of people add to their posts. Any help gratefully received! Loki1950
The .txt extension tells you all you need to know they are standard text files so to view them all you really need is a text editor ie: notepad or notepad ++ on Windows if you actually want to see replay of the game just drop it into your replays folder along with the matching metadata.json just make sure they are in a separate folder for each replay not sure if there is a naming convention for that folder name. sarcoma
You need to locate the directory where replays are saved https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths then put a directory there with the commands.txt and metadata.json (optional, summary) inside. The game will appear somewhere in the replay menu
elexis
You can locate the replay directory too by selecting a replay in the ingame replay menu.
Aristosseur
Hello, I received a replay, unzipped it in \Documents\My Games\0ad\replays\0.0.23 in its own folder 2018-09-01_0008, doesn't show up. Mine goes up to _0003, so I changed the number to _0004 but it still won't show up, I have restarted both game and refreshed cache.
sarcoma
It probably has mods you don't have. Uncheck the only compatible replays option to see them. You can edit the file and remove mods other than public. Mod list in first lines.
